  1. I stopped smoking 5 days ago. Im going to the airforce and had to only do meps but i put it off months ago cause i was smoking with my friends. Any advice or precaution for entering the DEP program ?

  2. Do they drug test you between meps and basic? I ask because I literally whole heartedly accidentally ate 4 special brownies last night and I'm honestly freaking out

  3. I smoke today but have to take a drug test in 30 days idk if its from my recruiter or meps but I'm not trying to get disqualifed from the military what can i do

  4. have your leave days up to 30 .. take em all do ya thing one day .. by the time you back on base gas gone be out yo system you’ll be fine 🤷🏾‍♂️

  5. I wanna take steroids in the Marines so I can be strong if I get drugged tested I will stop taking steroids like 3 weeks before boot camp for Marine Corps

  6. Lol fun fact: they usually pool everyone's urine together so a lot of times if you're being called back for another test, it's because someone's pee in the pee stew popped and they're trying to track down who. It supposedly saves money because UAs are expensive

  7. I was a Drug Test Program Administrative Manager (DTPAM) for a time in the Air Force. Generally, the selection is random but a squadron commander may also request a certain individual be tested. Sometimes, it's "Commander Directed" meaning you're told by your commander that he wants a drug test from you (usually following a DUI or some other known event.) Sometimes, you're added to the randomization list without being told. This may happen if they suspect something based on your behavior, known associates, etc, or after certain travel, leave, etc, but have no proof you're using drugs. The lists are randomized based on your SSAN. You may not get popped for golden flow for a while or you may get popped several times in a row just out of randomness. No need to be paranoid about it…or is there?! Sometimes, everyone in a squadron gets tested or everyone in a dorm building if suspicious activity is identified. Remember, OSI are among you!

  8. They say random, but i got popped 3 days in a row lol. They were trying to meet a quota and since i was a 9 alpha They kept “randomly selecting me.” Which would habe been okay but i’m pee shy so yeah… My bladder was sore lol.

  9. Ughhh I've been called to do 6 out of 7 random drug tests in the Navy. I don't know how The Air Force does it, but in the Navy it's 10% of the command every month.

  10. Random huh? I would get called to the orderly room all the time. At least 3 times in one month. I love how they try to keep it a secret to come to the orderly room. Lol. That is one thing I don’t miss about the AF. They ALWAYS call me after I relieve myself…..come on.lol. I remember when I was in Iceland. We had a squadron recall on Father’s Day and we were supposed to bring our mobility bag to meet at the terminal. Well, guess what? It was a basewide drug test!! That really sucked. Took forever. Love your daily thought.

  11. hey man love the channel but i feel like do a great job at depicting jobs in the air force could you talk more on the best jobs and the ones you wish you had.

  12. Yup, random drug test & if you go on Leave sometimes!
My husband just got a drug test because we went on Leave to Colorado for 1 week

  13. The Drug testing program is completely randomized by computer. You could be selected a number of times during a year or not at all. There is no predicting it. Its strictly controlled by random number generation. Be advised though that the DOD drug program is more sophisticated than civilian ones and can reach back several months in analysis of your body chemistry. So don't think you are clear just cause you haven't done anything for a couple months. It will show a positive on the test if you have done anything. A positive test result is a fast ticket to discharge so don't tempt faith. Stay away from any drug not prescribed on your medical records.

  14. So during the entire process before even starting to go to meps and everything when id the FIRSTTTTTTT time they actually drug test you like the veryyy first time

  15. Sounds like the drug testing procedure hasn't changed since they started when I was in th AF. I ran the drug testing program when I was in the service. When I was enlisted I never got picked, after I got my commission I won the lottery 3 times in a year!
