it was great advice by Alanna, sensible and worth sharing and gives a better understanding that there will be others, of course. so how do we plan to keep ourselves safe and healthy without bringing fear into it.

Another so called professional who advises against face masks? Actually advising against a common sense defence and we are supposed to listen to the professional’s,what a cockup

Has anyone else noticed, that a lot of people who wear face masks pretty much ignore social distancing? I live with my cat, and he is not into hugs. I really miss social interaction and hugs.
This presentation being before the Corono virus got really bad was dead wrong about the need for masks. If the restrictions are to be undone, masks need to be worn for an indefinite period unless one resides in some area where there's no virus at all(like Micronesia in the Pacific Islands).
Had Obama been president, there's no doubt he would't have delayed action so shamefully as Trump has. Of course, it would have still been out of control to some degree but nowhere near as chaotic as with Trump whose stupidity and incompetence are the worst traits to have during a pandemic.
China IS guilty to the extent that it was in denial at the beginning and the actual doctor who discovered it there was muzzled and sadly was among the first victims there.
Her stance is so authoritarian.

Six weeks after this was uploaded, the information is wrong. SARS-CoV-2 is very different. It may start out by "going for the lungs", but it also goes elsewhere wreaking havoc: kidneys, liver, heart and brain. And as of this writing (09May2020), parameters of immunity after recovery are unknown.
Running out of Lysol and other essential antimicrobial products cannot happen again, and these supply chains need to be supported and maintained with long term preparation plans to ensure they're available to combat outbreaks in the future. In a corrupted system the need for eliminating predator corporations that show signs of early preparation before the event is also necessary. The older products worked, until they were unavailable.
For a virus that has no vaccine and no immunity, only resistance and avoidance, there is no such thing as herd immunity.
The W.H.O. is a JOKE
Go vegan to keep the future PANDEMICS away. A corona virus wouldn't have existed in a world where we think animals are here with us and not FOR US. Period.
