the bill of rights has already been eroded before the corona virus. It's been cherry-picked and eroded away via more and more passed legislation and backed up by the patriot act. The bill of rights was eroded with the Trump administration, the bill of rights was eroded with the Bush administration, the liberties of the people have been eroded ever since post September 2001. We all know what the scapegoat is. And btw while this guy speaks out against the right to smoke weed which is a psychoactive substance, if the declaration of independence entitles the right to pursue happiness, people should have the right to smoke weed. In fact I'm gonna go out on a logical whim here and say if we have the right to pursue happiness, people should have the right to explore their minds with ANY psychedelic compound. If the 1st Amendment promises the right to free speech and press, why would there even be obscenity laws? Which is naturally, a corporate move backed up by (no surprise) the interests of greed. There's a lot of ways where societies rights are eroded but the majority of the public is merely coerced and convinced to agree with it. People in general are willingly accepting unconstitutional laws simply because of the sheepish, "Well, if a law was made to ban it, the law must make sense!" Nope, that's the definition of a police-state. Government tyranny. In an all-out police-state the governments will simply flat-out criminalize the bill of rights. But it's far more like out of Huxley's envisioned Brave New World than Orwell's envisioned 1984. That is the people are far more ruled by pleasure than an iron fist. They willingly accept their shackles.
