  1. I'm kinda digging Lex Luthor as a good guy! More of an anti-hero really, but I'm into it. Plus showing Superman's goodness at heart overcoming decades of mental corruption by politicians. Good stuff.

  2. This movie basically proves the point that no matter how hard mankind strives for perfection in society it will never happen. Someone will always have to pay the price in one way or another. Democracy is built upon the ideal that man can choose his status in life. Unfortunately the system falls short in that the rich will always lord over the poor and that hunger and poverty are included to make the equation work. Communism is built upon the ideal that everybody can have good lives that are equal but it falls short in that everybody is equally poor or prosperous with no humanity. And that those in positions again lord over those without it. Even superman couldnt do it because his vision of perfection involved taking away freedom of choice and decisions. Even if things are peaceful its not life unless humans are allowed to make choices make mistakes learn amd grow. This movie shows man was not meant to rule itself perfectly.
