Looking for Work, After #Cancer – A Casual Work Interview
5 years post cancer, I’m looking for “work-from-home” employment. I’ve tried to do the regular “go to the job” type of work… it’s difficult due to the post …
After cancer I ran my own businesses for a few years, the problem I had was that I had too much work for my body. After full day in the field doing jobs I had all night doing calls & paperwork. For a cancer survivor it was just too much… Previous to cancer I worked 15 years as an IT manager for AT&T, which was short lived after cancer. 13 of those years I worked form home performing Outage Management investigations. WFH was great for post cancer issues and I loved my job however, corporations think differently and I was released due to "Surplus" reasons. I posted this Casual Work Interview as a request from a YouTube business hiring. This was a new way of interviewing I guess, so I thought I'd pass it on… if anything it is informative for post cancer survivors.
Inspirational my friend, sorry you went through a rough time but glad you're doing well. Keep on going my friend, praying for you to find happiness, and working from home is amazing, there's nothing better. I hope your channel gets big enough to be the support you need and you can put your all into it!
