MANX Radio Theatre was a radio programme on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Four. It was broadcast on Sunday nights, from 9.00pm to 10.00pm.

History
MANX Radio Theatre was a showcase of radio drama, often based on the history and culture of the Isle of Man. A first episode was broadcast on 5 August 2006, a programme about Manx creels, called The Manx Book of Rafters, in which Ella Pope Barker narrated stories in Manx Gaelic about the Manx creels, and about the wonderful book of Rafters, in which a Manx sailor describes his adventures during the Long Voyage to America in the 1700s. Other early guests included the Manx broadcaster Michael Mayhew.

The programme was broadcast until 30 April 2013 when the BBC announced that it was to be discontinued.

A 30th anniversary tribute programme was broadcast in the Manx radio show on 24 August 2006.

running on a PC.  Its most attractive feature is an out-of-the-box option
for real-time display of more than one signal.  The program includes a
command set providing facility for control of the configuration of its
tables, along with a plot window for displaying sine wave signals for
quick confirmation of signal amplitude and frequency.  Also included is
the capability of plotting the instantaneous X and Y components of a UHF
difference signal to determine the horizontal and vertical angle of an
exiting ionized meteor trail.  In addition, WSJT is capable of tracking
significant ionized meteor events anywhere on the surface of the earth
simultaneously.  Other signal parameters such as the frequency, phase,
and power can be set.  Various kinds of envelope detectors are
available, along with automatic gain control and a set of phase offset
measurements allowing both X and Y signals to be used.  The best-of-class
real-time display can be set to display LORs, plots of the instantaneous
Y and X components of a UHF (off-axis) differnce signal, and waveforms
drawn by WSJT on any portion of the O-scope screen, all in a single
simultaneous display.  The entire display, with any one of a number of
modules open, can be exported to a bit-mapped file for local display
on a PC.

WSJT is an excellent program for the VHF/UHF ham or hams who are
interested in studying reflections from ionized meteors and tracking
intense ILD effects (be they from giant or normal meteors) for long
periods of time.

If WSJT is placed in operation mode, the Control bar will appear on the
top of the screen.  The operator should be using the Control bar to set
the LOR source, the Y/X offset, the PLL mode, and the audio bandwidth.

A WSJT project file is included on the CD. The included WSJT.exe starts, but only a small icon appears. (This is because WSJT, by nature, is a “server” program and it will not run without a window being displayed.)

Any floppy disk can be used to start WSJT. Just insert the disk containing the WSJT project file and start the program. WSJT will be started from the disk.

When WSJT is opened, it automatically creates a project file that contains the options and settings that will be used to communicate with the user.
