You can obtain the interface from your PBX vendor or a user of a PBX ISDN/ATM connection. Connect the interface with WinTariff. The interface can be a serial interface or an Ethernet interface.
(2) Start/Stop
You can start and stop WinTariff from Start / Programs/ WinTariff. The start-up messages are displayed. When WinTariff is started, it connects to the PBX interface using a session. When WinTariff is stopped, it disconnects from the PBX interface.

In the Options window, you can configure the following settings:
(i) Account
An account code is the account ID of the company on the PBX server. The account code is the same as the password of the account and is displayed in the Options window.
(ii) PBX
The set PBX (communication channel, port, speed, parity) of the extension.
(iii) Reset Period
The reset period is the number of minutes after which the PBX extension is disconnected.
(iv) Session ID
The WinTariff session ID.
(v) API Login
Enable or disable logging in to the API interface.
(v) Password
Enable or disable logging in to the API interface.
(vi) Start Session
Start the PBX interface session and the PBX call monitoring session.
(vii) Session Name
If the PAE option is enabled, this setting configures the name of the PBX session, which is displayed in the PBX log window.
