The tax is stupid- protecting the car sellers…who charge extortionate prices to buy a 'deportee' vehicle to which I question the structural integrity of these imports? We work hard abroad. Image the amount of cars that is on the wharf, because they cannot clear them due to the taxation?. Not sure 2nd or 3rd highest taxation in the world?????…stop the f ckery on hitting hard working people who want comforts from abroad to have in their homes. Those that have cars help the economy of Jamaica, eg, road tax, MOT, Insurance & buying fuel. Ease off the car import tax. What say you? Bless.
