  1. Say hello to the end of New Jersey. I can't believe all the morons who fell for his shit campaign. I started looking for a place to live in another state the second I saw him gaining momentum in the race. And this has nothing to do with the weed thing, he's just a dope. Not to mention legalising weed hasn't helped any state on a while so I don't know why people are acting like "joing the legal weed club" is a prioritized benefit.

  2. HECK YEA HOPE YOU GET IT DONE MR.MURPHY THEN THE GREEN GARDEN STATE IT SHOULD OF BEEN PUT IN AWHILE BACK AFTER ALL IT IS A SEED IF THE POWER HIGHER THAN US WOULD OF NOT OF BEEN A PLANT THAT YOU CAN GROW HAVE NOT SEEN ANYONE OD FROM SMOKING,AND NOW YOU HAVE SCIENTIST EXTRACTING OIL FROM PLANT AND IT FIXES ALOT OF PEOPLE FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN ON THE INTER WEB GREAT FOR THE YOUNG AND OLD PEOPLE ALSO HAVE PAIN AND THEY USE IT FOR THAT ALSO HOPE IT PASSES AND GOES GREEN LIGHT TO BE LEGIT ENJOY AND THANKS.

  3. Its really shitty how this topic is such a partisan issue. Repub candidates hate anything weed related and want the strictest laws surrounding it. Most wont even mention the positive effects it has on dying and ill people.

  4. Legalizing marijuana and expunging peoples records for people that been arrested under 50gs is the best decision that any governor could make for NJ

  5. This video doesn't tell me much at all. Philip Murphy just used this issue to get elected. That's all. I guarantee you that Jersey will not legalize it for recreational use EVER! It's too good to be true. Miracles don't happen in N.J. Get ready to have your hopes dashed fellow Jerseyans, but hey, you and I are used to that shit aren't we? That's Jersey. No fun allowed in this state, only the right to be a workaholic wage slave.

  6. Oh wow man, look at the colors in my screen saver, was that a Pothole or a parked car we just hit ??? Pass the pipe man, windows look like they are fogging up, no man, it's the smoke ! Should I put the window down,no way, just inhale faster ! We have enough bad drivers in NJ !

  7. Can't grow your own? That's some bullshit. If it's all about taxing and bringing money into NJ, sell seeds and plantlings and tax that too.

  8. Anyone who understands how marijuana prohibition came to be should know that this is significantly overdue. We are forcing average honest citizens to become criminals in order to enjoy a substance that is significantly less harmful mentally and physically than alcohol. The fact is people who want to use marijuana will do so if it is legal or not. As a resident of NJ I can say there is no shortage of (illegal)marijuana so I'm not sure how anyone could say that prohibition is working.

  9. As a resident of NJ, I am proud of my state for being sensible and among the first handful of states to legalize for recreational use. It is nice to be able to join states like Colorado, Oregon etc which treat adults, like adults and understand what personal freedom means.

I do NOT like the end of this video, which asks if NJ will be a better place with legal marijuana. Sounds negative to me. And why wouldn't NJ be a better place with legal cannabis? Colorado sure isn't doing too badly. Drunk driving fatalities and opiod deaths are way down. Hundreds of millions of dollars in tax revenue much of which is going to the schools.

Big mistake not allowing people to grow their own. Makes the state seem greedy and less interested in personal freedoms.

  10. Of course! In typical Jersey style they will legalize it and put a 55% tax on it. THESE people have been arresting and harassing our youth for years over these stupid victimless crimes and now that their backers like Soros have a stake they come out all high and mighty. They are all PUPPETS.

  11. Pot needs to be legalized , there is so many minor drug offenses sending people to jail over the smallest amount , if cigarettes and alcohol can be legal, and both have killed countless , why not good old marijane who’s never hurt anyone ?

  12. One of the few things I agree on with Phil Murphy, hopefully they get it passed in those 100 days, what a beautiful summer 2018 will be 🤞😁

  13. Hell NO !!!! I didnt vote for Murphy . Because of this , him , taxes going up etc , I dunno how much longer I can still live here as much as I love things in this state & especially the Jersey Shore . But now because of this dimwad , making illegal drugs legal etc , I dunno how much longer I can stay in Jersey .

  14. Legalize it, tax it by thc content, use taxes to lower college costs and research, decriminalize, pardon or reduce marijuana offenses/prison sentences to further freeing up tax revenues. Use any extra revenue to build permanent low cost housing for the homeless, because its cheaper to build them homes than to take care of all the problems from being homeless.

  15. With Democrats in control of New Jersey's legislature and a governor who supports legalizing marijuana, I believe it's likely New Jersey will be the 9th state to legalize marijuana!

  16. All the crime that results from Marijuana being illegal is a great strain on our systems. In addition the tax the state would get from legal pot sale would also be a great financial boon. This isn't about children smoking, its about 21+ year olds who could just as easily get drunk. The best part of this is that since pot will be made legal, it is now 'safe' to report people you see high without feeling guilty for sending someone to jail for possession of Marijuana.

  17. But how will our private prisons fill their cells? How will they meet their Quarterly Earnings Estimates?? And what excuse will NJ cops now have to harass poor black and brown teenagers???
