  1. Problem is phytic acid. All it needs to soak oats overnight. It helps degrades phytic acid, no gastrointestinal issues, . Oats are excellent for lowering LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, lowering occurrence of colon cancer……oats are great, but they need soaking, just like beans or lentils.

  2. oh no! Oatmeal is how I get my daily turmeric dosage….1/2 tsp turmeric, cup of cooked oats, coconut oil, cinnamon, blueberries and dollop of honey

  3. I think these reactions are not as common as you're suggesting! There are so many other foods that may cause bloating or any of the other reactions when consumed within hours along with oats. That is common for any food groups. And you haven't even mentioned any of the pros? Then again, there aren't really any cons for diabetes patients eating oats when eaten with the right add-ins! The only thing is to avoid the sweetened instant oats and that applies to everyone. Certainly, one needs to add variety to their diet and not eat oats for breakfast every single day, and who does that? A balanced meal should include fruits, vegetables, legumes, and grains. But that's the ideal so my breakfast can consist of oats/any other broken grain with fruits or with veggies, or legumes like mung beans with veggies. I'm sorry, but I expect better from this channel…

  5. I was just thinking about how health conscious people always put down the common foods we eat like oatmeal , coffee, certain fruits , potatoes. They always say you shouldn’t eat these cuz they are bad . I think it’s all BS . If you’re eating food from the earth you’re doing your body good . Instead they always want you to eat some weird ass shit that most of us don’t consume . In conclusion the most popular foods like oats are researched more because of the high consumption thus finding the negatives in the specific food . The uncommon stuff like black seed oil, turmeric , oregano oil, etc doesn’t have the research to find the negatives in using those products . So eat what you want as long as it’s generally healthy
