The realtors jumped to negative conclusions because the homeowner was elderly. When the personal decor and furnishings are removed the charm of the time capsule will greatly diminish. I hope whomever bought the house was looking at the bones of it, not the decor.

I bought an old woman's home. "Maggie" She sold it to me cheap because we were a cute young couple with a baby and another on the way. While well loved, it'd slipped into a couple decades of severe disrepair following her husband's death. I spent the next thirty years meticulously fixing it up, the right way, retaining all it's original character. We've since raised our three to adulthood here. I like to think she's proud of it somewhere.
This video is disrespectful to the seller. What made them think it would be a dump. Any house can have issues. Not all elderly people live like hoarders. My grandmother kept her house in order the same way until she had a stroke and then had to move out. She was in her 90s also.
