This evidence you present in this video is based on many biases created by big pharma that western medicines cure disease (which they don't). Also you have taken out of the equation many factors: you are comparing a naturally occurring plant in nature created by God (by many beneficial purposes which you guys ignored and have failed to research including healing Cancer!!!) to a man made lab created drug/chemically enhanced intoxicant through intervention with chemical enhancements/modifications. The process of extracting CBD oil, or eating Hemp seeds, or topical home made uses even…..is a process that does not alter the chemical balance which God put in the plant and retains the nutritional/medicinal integrity God put in the plant. Hence Psychoactive/Addictive/Synthetic Drug like versions are all lab/chemically manipulated like when extracted with THC.
So now as a human who is expected to practice self-regulation and be able to use a plant God created for my benefit with medicinal, nutritional, bio-industrial benefits that save so much damage on the planet…you, & the featured Sheikhs are misjudging & the Capitalist world is playing God and denying me as a human the right to responsibly plant it and use it with for my health, and life benefit without having to pay for it through monopolized, controlled channels that will sell it to me at a fortune.
This just sheds the light on how behind the Islamic leadership in the world cause it does not have qualified scientific/specialized people like me. Let me ask you. The Prophet pbuh consumed Al-Harmal seeds. It is a Prophetic medicine that cures multiple physical diseases & Jinn related spiritual diseases. Al Harmal is sold today just around any traditional medicine stores (Attars), the seed has psychoactive compounds. How do you explain that? You can drink as a medicinal tea as prescribed by the Sunnah, but you can also use modern chemical manipulations of seed extract the psychoactive compound and use it as a hallucinating drug. So how do you explain that? I have researched, tried and tested almost all naturally occurring psychedelic and powerful medicinal plants with the right education, intention, self-regulation and taqwa and how come i am not an addict whose life was ruined? How come God created a honey that has psychedelic medicinal properties as it come straight from the hive? This is just the begining of how much divine potential and knowledge is being sabotaged, denied from humanity and we the ones who are supposed to lead the way with this end up with such conclusions that demonize gifts that Allah created for our benefit. It seems we are NOT fully aware of what Allah swt meant when he said take the devil as your enemy.
Do you see the deeper problem? Sheikh Rateb Al Nabulsi once said: "Islam has lost its leadership in the world, since the day it got limited to Religious Rituals", no wonder that the Islamic world is where it is today, divided, dis-empowered, does not lead knowledge in the world, always blaming outside factors and manipulation.
I myself have the ability to practice the use of such plants in ways that are naturally occurring and always with self-regulation and taqwa and need little permission from anyone to do so. I responsibly have the self-education, ability to not use them in anyway for mind-altering fun and my discipline in Ibada is as high as praying the fard and sunnahs every day on time in the mousque and fast the fard and sunnahs…etc How come I can do that? Ps: Islamic countries have legalized cigarettes (which are not tobacco) rather chemical enhanced/manipulated tobacco that is burned and enhaled in its consumption knowing the diseases and deaths rates it creates! But are banning hemp protein, seeds, oil and bio-industrial by products just cause someone decided to manipulate and chemically change it into mind altering drugs that will overshadow the benefits God put in them.
We are missing that Alcohol does not come from a tree, but from a chemical lab/factory, Modern day drugs are the same….and we throw the baby with the bath water cause of the manipulation of man…..I can go on and on. Go research how the indigenous people heal most of their diseases with daily consumption of dried and tobacco coca leaves powder. Bro I am muslim and marijuana have many many benifits and smoking them is much more healthier than smoking cigarettes…..but cigarette is not haram and secondly………just use your mind and try to think that…… addiction of marijuana is haram or addiction of any intoxicant………but if you just smoke it occasionally and you have a good self control and you'll not become addicted to it then there is no problem in smoking weed and hence it will not be haram

This is a bummer; I enjoy smoking marijuana once in a while for recreational purposes, or during study time to enhance my concentration and inspiration while writing. It helps with stress of work, school, and life. It's tough being an ideal Muslim; Ya Allah forgive me for all I sinned.
