This is my experience. I smoked cigaretts for 10 years, i tried vaping – never could go over a week without a cigarette. Then i tried iqos, menthol taste and i am smoking it for 2 months now. I dont cough anymore, my clothes and hair dont stink and i feel more healthy. I used to have some shortage of breath – i dont have it anymore. But the thing i am most concerned with is this menthol taste i am smoking. I believe they put mint oil inside and i am not sure if it makes more harm or not. I cant find information on it. Anyway, my parents are also smokers for over 35 years. 1 week ago they finally switched to iqos and are loving it. I know they dont want to stop smoking but i am happy at least after so many years of Marlboro gold they found something that is very simmilar to a cigarette but not as much harmful. I am happy to not be poisining people and animals around me with horrible smoke from cigaretts. I hope by the age 30 to stop smoking completly. 3 more years to go 👌good luck people!
I am from Romania, Europe, and Iqos has been with us for a long time, I have been using it for 2 years. It comes in several flavors and the device is slightly different from the one in the video, and for us it is presented as an alternative to normal smoking. It is good, my favorite flavor is blue, the most mentholated, it is worth trying to stop smoking more cigarettes since I have it. I would like to try and vaping but I have not seen such devices in us, at least in Romania.
How is IQOS any better than, say, chewing tobacco, which causes mouth cancer? Vaping is no better, as we now know its killing people and causing lung damage.
Well, the things you're saying are almost correct. I live in Portugal and smoke Iqos. Still don't know, but I think not, if is possible to smoke in public places like restaurant.
Iqos appeared with 3 or 4 flavors and it's growing.
One thing I noticed was that, people who smoke Iqos, after a while, can't support regular tobacco and in some cases, like me not even standing near persons that are smoking regular tobbaco; the other issue is that there are a couple of persons that I know that, after some time smoking iqos…. just quite on smoking.

This is a great video from a balanced source I think. I don't understand how hostile everyone is to these new products. Like obviously they probably are still somewhat harmful for humans but no where near as bad as cigs. It's such an easy switch for everyone, regulators get to keep people safer, tobacco companies get better margins, smokers can still smoke but are healthier, and we basically eliminate second hand smoke. It seems like such an easy answer to me, nice to see medical people agreeing.

I would like to note the following:
The I-Qos is makeing a dry distilation to the tobacco. This process, if I am not mistaken, produces wood alcohol, methanol, tar and a sufficient amount of carbon monoxide, ingredients which I do not think are so safe for anyone to smoke. After this procedure, the filter of the small cigarette becomes brown, a sign that it retained tar and other heavy ingredients. I believe that anyone who sincerely researches the I-Qos will find that it is particularly dangerous to health.
Personally, I have been vaping for 10 years now with e-juice that I make on my own and consist of high quality glycerin, propylene glycol, nicotine 3mg and approved fragrances from Flavor Arts in the ratio of 1-3%. How it is possible to vape 54mg nicotine in the Juul, I do not understand. You are the country of excesses. If you are vaping state-controlled liquids up to 10mg nicotine with just the ingredients I mentioned above, you will have no problem.
oh for goodness sakes! I am 66 yr old woman, smoked for 40 years and quit through vaping 1 yr ago immediately. I tried cig flavored vape juice and yuck! If it hadn't been for the flavors, I would never have stuck with it. Flavors are for old folks too!
