  1. It’s been so nice catching up with you after all the travel you’ve had to do for work. Like you I’m so grateful that I have still been able to have my job. It’s been a blessing to have that and it allows me to get out of the house everyday.

  2. Bob always makes things fun! You will have to tell him I have read the “Everybody Poops” book 😂 There is absolutely no shame in using over 26 squares of paper especially if you have a blowout (my Granny’s description) Ha! Hopefully things will get back to somewhat normal sooner than later. Sending you guys love! xoxo

  3. Your vlogs and videos are helping me relax and take my mind away from the awful infection thanks 😊 take care and yeh love 💕 bobs banter 🤣

  4. Don't apologize for Bob–I think we are all wondering about the mindset (ok, sanity) of hoarders……grocers have been out of yeast for a month–although when I was at the store this morning, there was flour, no TP, but nuf said about that! I just got a few things and some cat food. The bill was actually quite low and I still had people looking at my cart. Sorry folks fresh veg is always good. I have been taking out my anxiousness on the ice in the street–quite therapeutic actually. Snow almost gone and the street draining is going great. Hang in there–the Spanish flu came and went too, and we didn't have the facilities that we have today.

p.s. turn off the TV it doesn't help.

  5. New to your channel. Chicken pie dish looks delish. What came to mind is you could also add a can of peas and carrots. I bet that would be good 😊

  6. I have up days and down days. Some days I want to clean everything and others all I want to do is just watch videos. I agree with Bob. I use a lot less than 26. Bob needs to make public service announcements. To change the subject do you ever put veggies right in the chicken mixture?

  7. The TP hoarding baffles me, too. First of all, it's not that kind of virus. Second, it's not like they're going to stop making the stuff. I also wonder if it's more people reselling it at ridiculous prices. I've seen more price gouging on Amazon than ever before. Our local Kroger hasn't had any TP, paper towel or tissues for several weeks now and I wonder if they're just not putting it out to keep the hoarding people away. I've been meaning to ask about it but keep forgetting whenever I go.

  8. Yes, thank you for the vlogs!! It is definitely up and down! My husband works from home now, continuing on with home school, trying to avoid the grocery store and stay out of public….. Carrying on! One day at a time! Finding things to keep busy! Stay safe! ❤

  9. Hi, hope you and your loved ones are all safe! It's been little crazy here on our side of the pond for a while now.
I'm totally a huger and a kisser; so sad I had to miss my Dad's B-day and will have to miss Easter too.

  10. “The Straight Sh!t with Bob Gehm” I love it! When we were potty training our oldest son, my husband invented a song called, “Everybody Goes Poopy Sometimes!”😂😂😂 Take care, Gehms.~ Jenn

  11. When you mentioned Lianne on IG, I started to following & love her! I started following Heather McMahan too because of you, thank you!

  12. I so appreciate your videos and vlogs! I don’t comment a lot, but wanted you to know how much your videos mean to me! They give me comfort during this very difficult and uncertain time that so many of are facing and dealing with right now! I’m in Ohio and I know Governor DeWine is trying his best to keep us all safe, but I got to be honest this whole thing is really starting to get me down and sad! We are under a shutdown for all non essential businesses and Schools are closed until April 6th. It hasn’t been announced but I know it will be extended. My family is doing our best and staying home as much as possible! I only go out once a week for groceries. My husband’s company is considered an essential business and they are practicing safe measures for all employees. My son is in 8th grade and has been home since the school closures issued on March 16th. He seems fine with online learning, but It seems more stressful and work than actually going to school. I miss the structure and daily routine of school. I know the districts are doing their best with the limited time they have been given and they have been doing a wonderful job! I’m trying to stay positive but everyday I just hear more and more bad news about our country and citizens and it’s really got me sad! My thoughts and prayers are with those who have been inflicted with this horrible virus! It just doesn’t seem fair! I keep hoping every day I will wake up and things will be better! I worry about everything and everyone! I really hope things get better soon! My continued thoughts and prayers that you and your family stays healthy and safe! Sorry for the ramble! As always thanks for listening! ❤️

  13. Hugs 🤗 haven't commented in awhile but still a dedicated viewer. I work from home so quarantine has been okay. I am in BC Canada and we are not yet in total lockdown. Keep safe and healthy and I totally agree with Bob on the whole toilet paper craziness.

  14. Nice to see you my friend. Love Susan W. Great recipe. Working from home too. Scary time. Love you and the family. Stay healthy. Thanks for being there for all of us. – Sue in MI

  15. Hi Kristin love your vlogs and Bob's banter I have sad these last few days like yourself for me and I am sure it's the unknown when will this end will things go back to normal but we're all in this together 😀🙏♥️

  16. Hey Kristin! We are hanging in there ☺. Crazy times for sure! You're lucky that you can get meat. Every time I go to the store there's no meat😯. When I make chicken pie I make it just like your recipe except I add a can of veg all and add mayo to the bisquick/milk mixture. What exactly are pierogies? That dinner you were making with the turkey sausage looks yummy! Take care!

  17. You're so sweet.. Hoping you and Bob are doing well too. Btw, "banter with Bob" was funny but true! Thanks for vlogging…

  18. if you honestly feel bored or out of sorts why not consider staying overnight in your lovely new basement apartment!
Have your supper down there, watch TV and go to bed down there just for the variety of it all…IF you feel you need something different.

  19. I too have been in a sad place. I feel like crying on and off. I think I’m starting to become scared of my loved ones or myself getting sick. I know I have to stay positive. I am a hugger too. I wish I was there to give you a hug. Know I’m sending one virtually. 🙏🏻

  20. Being retired, my daily routine hasn't changed all that much. However, when you know everything isn't as normal in the world around you, knowing that you really can't go out and do much besides the necessities of life, then it can become a bit overwhelming. I do agree, with Bob on the whole TP thing … c'mon people, really? Why? I just don't get it at all! We've been fortunate here, we have a roof over our heads, food on the table, clean water to drink … I mean, this isn't like a natural disaster where we've lost our home, electricity, water, TV, phone, internet. I think of people in places like Puerto Rico when they were hit by hurricanes, and I feel silly for being depressed about any of this. I pray for the sick, for the families who have lost loved ones, and for all the healthcare workers, and people like my brothers who are truck drivers out there doing their best to keep goods moving in our country, and then I just breathe in and out and know we will be just fine.

  21. Christen I watch most all your blogs they’re so therapeutic to me not sure how that’s going to come across probably weird LOL you just bring me joy thank you for sharing your life💕

  22. Glad you are safe & well. Prayers to all & I think everyone is or should be getting to what really matter in life. BTW “banter w/Bob” is always a joy!! Exciting to get a couple days of nice weather in the upper Midwest this week huh!!!

  23. I’m due to give birth in less than a week. I’m praying that my husband will be able to be there with me as many hospitals are now not even allowing the dads! Amid the uncertainty I love being able to watch your vlogs! ❤️
