UPDATE (February 20, 2020): A bill to legalize medical marijuana in Kentucky was overwhelmingly approved in the House of Representatives, 65 to 30. So cannabis will be both legal and illegal in the state of Kentucky. I don’t think the politicians care about the sick and vulnerable people of this state and this proves it.
This bill is trash… Smoking and home cultivation WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. Forcing people to use concentrates, edibles, topical only and not allowing them the ability to cultivate their own is idiotic. This entire bill is set up to only allow big corporations to come in and dominate the market and make it nearly impossible for local start ups to have a chance at running any sort of medical cannabis business. The absurd limitations on the patients use of medical cannabis is outrageous. Don't support this idiotic bill, force them to pass legit medical marijuana legislation that gives regular people the opportunity to choose how they wish to use their medication, allow them the ability to cultivate for personal medical consumption, and give people not currently millionaires a shot at starting a business instead of setting up huge $$$ roadblocks to ensure only corporations can benefit. I thought this was about the patients in need, not the cash grab for the big donors it has obviously become.
No more prison for pot.
I’ve got multiple sclerosis and I live here in Indiana. Just 30 minutes from the Michigan state line and they just started recreational use and when I use marijuana it helps me so much! I can’t believe Indiana still hasn’t passed anything for medical use!
