  1. Love Pat and Vanna! My childhood. I actually attended a live taping of WOF with my church back in the 80's. ♡♡♡ So happy he is doing OK now. May he be here with us for many, many more years.

  2. So happy for your recovery. I'm a long time fan of you And wheel of fortune. When you said that you weren't thinking if dying but what your family will have to go through ,you were right on target. I had surgery for ovarian cancer less then 2 yrs after my husband past. My only thought was what is going to happen to my family. They are all grown and have beautiful families of their own. But I still worried about them and having to lose both parents. So I can relate. Thankfully I recovered. And do garlic all is well. God bless you and your family always.

  3. Of course its great he is doing fine but a month later and STILL talking about it? Everyday folks go thru more serious health scares than that & no lne gets on tv to talk about it. Now THATS REAL LIFE !

  4. Thank you so much Pat for the update, and Vanna for being equally as remarkable!
Sure it's a game show, but you guys have dazzled us with your beauty and elagance for a long time, let's not stop now…

  5. Intussusception. My eight month old daughter had it. I took her to my doctor in the morning, and he said come back at the end of the day. On the way home, I was going past the hospital and my gut told me to take her to the emergency. Same thing as Pat Sajak, the Dr. threw the consent form on his back and said, "Hurry, sign this!" and she was in surgery. A few years later, I read a story in the Reader's Digest about a couple of Doctors, who were married and had a baby boy. They kept taking their child to their Pediatrician with the same symptoms my daughter had. They were sent home too. They went home until it got so bad, they took him to a hospital but sadly, they waited so long that the intestines had died and the child needed a colostomy bag for the rest of his life.
