my stepson vapes and we kept telling him he should stop. It took a car falling on him (fortunately it just pinned his shoulder) and the chest x-ray to find blisters on his lungs before it got his attention.

I know of three of those and all three were not vaping E-juice. But let's go with it…how many people die a month from smoking cigs…1300. I understand theres more people smoking then vaping. But we do have the data that clearly shows cigs kill and the number cause for lung illness…but your not here saying band cigs. Now why is that??? 5 deaths and were not sure as you say if its related to juice or THC which most knock offs use this aciatate. So I ask ask again…how much they paying you?

What’s sad is vaping isn’t killing teens. Teens acquiring illegal black market unregulated cartridges is killing teens. If teens had access to vape shops, which are licensed, regulated, and proven to be safe, teens would not be resorting to the dangerous junk. The US just increased the age to 21, so now 18 year olds who vaped before this law are going to have to resort to illegal means if they want to continue. Obviously the best solution is to just NOT vape… but it gives a lot of people comfort and there are benefits. I vape 0 nicotine juice and just the sensation of watching the “cloud” leave my mouth helps with my anxiety. Now I can’t get my juice from the safe shop that I was buying from before. I stopped vaping and now I’m on antidepressants. We don’t know the long term dangers of SSRI’s…. but we still give them to thousands of teens. (Not advocating to get rid of these). The truth is, the media and government doesn’t care about the “safety of our teens” and just want another way to keep people from exercising freedoms. They want us to depend on the government for as long as possible. Anyway. That’s my rant.

It’s %95 safer than cigarettes. Most of the cases are from people buying dodgy liquids that contain illegal stuff in it. Like THC. Vaping non nicotine is not as bad as smoking anything else. It was made for a product to stop you from smoking. Trust me if you buy your non nicotine liquid from a safe place and not from a mate you should be fine.

I think we need to study why this only seems to be an issue in the US and not other countries. The UK actually promotes vape products to adults as a smoking cessation tool. That's the way I use it myself. I can guarantee that if I can't vape I will go back to smoking cigarettes. It's that simple. The media is reporting these "vaping" illnesses all the time but excluding the pertinent information about the THC carts they're using. I think the media has been completely irresponsible in their reporting. I think the CDC and WHO have been corrupted and they're entirely too political. Lets just do science on it and cut out the politics and personal biases. We all know that studies can be manipulated to fit a predetermined conclusion. That's not scientific, it's agenda driven. I do not believe that vaping is safe but I also do not believe that the failure of parents to parent their children should have ramifications on the rest of us. It is not my fault that your teenage child bought THC pods from some nefarious creature on the street and got sick from it. The government has no duty nor right to save you from yourself.
