He was the bassist for The Rolling Stones and known as the “quiet one.” Now, Bill Wyman speaks out about life in the world’s greatest rock band through a tour …
Still no word on uk release Damn it! I want to buy it as a present
Simply Amazing!!!
I enjoyed this documentary very much and it was just what I expected, despite the negative reviews that are unwarranted. There will definitely be more coming out of that treasure grove of memorabilia. I intend to do an episode this week on my podcast about the Rolling Stones called Sympathy for the Podcast. Look for it on Spreaker YouTube Cashbox Iheartradio etc for its upload. Next episode is a review of 1967s Her Satanic Majesties Request.
Thank you for generously sharing these very special candid moments and bearing your soul. A fan for all time of you
A glimpse into the life of Bill Wyman both the musician AND the man who tells a humble, true and fascinating story without all of the Hollywood hype and egotistical bravado from both inside and out of the Rolling Stones vortex. Thank you for sharing your life and treasures with us!
For all the years Bill kept these archives there is sufficient material for a mini series/documentary. Good to learn these insights into his life, however.
Great move. Washington Post and some others gave this a lukewarm rating. If you are a true Stones fan, and want to hear/see stuff you haven't before, rent this. If you are a casual Stones fan, probably skip. I have a better appreciation for Bill Wyman and the early Stones era. Seeing it through Wyman's eyes was quite illuminating. There are revelations, but those are about Bill's own life and how fame twisted/enhanced things, and how eventually he had to walk away.
Thank you so much Bill for sharing this with us. WE are not worthy to a brother from another mother my name is Bob wow 1st post!
