People need to see this. It was heartbreaking to watch. Very powerful and makes you want to take the time to just listen to someone else. You never know what someone else is going through. Spread love.
Poor kids. Most have mental illness My older sister was sent to seed She drank herself to death at 59 I was smarter than her I partyied but made straight As Then got married had kids I am happier than my poor sister
I live 15 minutes from this place. The buildings are abandoned + posted. A lot of the kids who attended Elan were from out of state. Some native Mainers but not much. Joe Ricci was scum. He used to eat at a restaurant my grandmother worked at close by the school. He was usually unruly, drunk and a cheapskate by way of leaving shitty tips. When my grandmother found out he died, she only said: "Good riddance."
