Backwardness and frugality are the problem in Australia . It is impossible to find luxury resorts. Mountain ski resorts are sad and not well kept. Australia has the most stunning sceneries with the potential to become one of the best tourist destination but most resort operators have cheapskate mentality. I was shocked to find there are still hotels with no lifts!

Cold winters, insular people, good food. Wollongong. Why? Oh the beaches are ok. Gateway to southern nsw. Brisbane. Too hot, too hot, too hot. Perth, its a long way to anywhere. Kings park is nice. Bloody hot. Adelaide. Wine country, crap water, sharks, great seafood. Bloody hot Sydney. Move on nothing to see here. Crowded, dirty, expensive. Melbourne, has knobs on it. Changing weather.
A climate change disaster not just in NSW but now the entire country. Cairns is now a disaster and the Great Barrier Reef with it. The bleached reef is a great destination for disaster tourism. We haven't even discussed the poor air quality issues and the extended fire season, everywhere in Australia.
