Growing food in our vegetable garden for us and our dogs, like our Yorkie. Both in the ground and in container garden like raised bed vegetable gardens.

I have reconnected with the outdoors, hummingbirds, squirrels, plants and growing vegetables, watching you gave me a new lease on life, I have lung cancer and a failing heart trouble so i just accepted the facts and got ready to die. AFTER WATCHING YOUR SHOW, WHALA, I HAVE MY BIRD BATH MY SON AND DAUGHTER-IN LAW SET UP THE FOUNTAIN and planted okra , tomatoes, peppers and several more, my humbird feeders are all over and what I need to D.I. MYSELF. I TRIED TO ORDER raised beds 4-4by 12 beds /sold out so i found 1 of your sites wh. what you did, I have a closets wh 8 large storage containers so I am going to plant watermellons and catalopes thanks to you i'm going to wait till next year to check out and I will not go quietly. DEPRESSION, HAS NEVER BOTHER ME, I'VE ALWAYSE BEEN UPBEAT AND THAT is the reason I've lived so long. Not because I'm a great typist.

Had a female cardinal that did that window bumping for 2 years. She never stopped even if I scared her off all the time. The male just ate, got a drink and sit in the tree watching his crazy wife! 👍🏻❤️

You have definitely convinced me that gardening can be easy and provide a sustainable amount of food. I just got my totes with Walmart free delivery! I think next week I can start planting. My issue before was I kept growing all these things I knew how to grow but that I didn't really eat with meals. Now my garden plan is all staples: tomatoes, onions, potatoes, herbs, peppers, and things we really enjoy. Thank you!

What is the netting you use.
I have tree collards and use the leaves mostly for smoothies. Thanks for the tip to make coleslaw and sauerkraut.

Dear little Kitty makes me smile, she's just so sweet! I'm having trouble getting reasonably priced plastic totes, but if I can find anything that holds enough soil, I will grow something edible in it!!! I have Chard envy lol! 🤣🌱💚

I'm looking for something safe for wildlife. I heard hydrogen peroxide, but not sure if that's hard to get…I'm in Ontario Canada. Hummingbirds will be here soon…can't wait! ❤❤❤

Hi I seen my first hummingbird thus morning in East TN
Robbie I am like you haven't left the house in weeks but buying stuff online to garden with. I got a delivery of Miracle-Gro yesterday. 12 bags I couldn't order from Walmart because we don't have the grocery deliver service in my area, so I went to the Miracle-Gro site and got it took about a week to get the delivery but I now have plenty of soil to finish my new totes with. I am like you this year I am not picky on soil I will be adding good things from my garden to that soil to improve it over the year.

Bought 12 more totes the other day. I planted my first moringa seed in one of them. I’ve been mulching in place and I did a test to see if it made a difference. The tomato plant that I put in the container with the kitchen scraps grew twice as much as 2 tomato plants I put in a container without any scraps. I’ve been showing my kids and there friends and they were amazed. THANK YOU and Gary so much for all the time you put in your videos to teach us all. I’m a new gardener and have learned so much from you. I hope to have a thriving garden like you do. Happy gardening🌸

I too collected rain water from this last storm… bought a few of 32 gal trash cans to store it. Caught over 100 gals in ONE DAY. I recognized Gary's line up of the buckets under the eves. Looked like my patio. lol It's so easy to dip my watering cans to fill them. I may attach a spigot at the bottom with a gravity fed hose. I also bought a bolt of tulle to protect my tomatoes from the critters. That tulle concept works GREAT!. I am also using the wire trash can baskets to protect my new sprouts until they get establish. Thanks again for all both of you share. When we harvested a bucket of beets and carrots… my goodness… we have a Worm Farm!
