  1. Lock down in my state was extended for another month. I just don’t know how much longer small business can survive. Even when the virus spread has been mitigated (it will never go a way). The economy in my state is heavily driven by tourism. Even if they can open up. They will be open to mostly empty stores for a while. So sad.

  3. Americans need to accept that small businesses, for the most part, are not meant to survive this and the governments efforts to mitigate the bankruptcies of these small businesses is insufficient by design.

Second, since the government did not give universal expanded SNAP/EBT benefits, as quickly as possible, Americans must accept that people within certain demographics are going to starve and the lack of response was designed to do so.

Third, the financial insolvency of unprofitable hospitals and the lack of quick government intervention to prevent such form happening, has also been by design, otherwise this obvious outcome would have been planned for.

I’ve been thoroughly convinced, by government, that I and people like me, do not matter to society’s appointed leaders in both the private public sectors.

I will act accordingly with that knowledge, going forward because I have accepted that I have no skin in the game and no equity in the future they have planned behind closed doors

  4. Government only protects corporations. President Trump we believed in you and you failed us. I own 5 stores inside the mall and we have been shutdown more than a month. We had 5 employees and I had to still put them on paycheck in order to get ppp loan. Since I am paying them nothing has came in our way so I had to lay all of them off. I am shutting down 4 stores this month and dealing with Malls are worst than ever. Westfield malls dont require payment during coronavirus but macerich is sending letter to us saying they will go after us. Good luck to all small business owners guys!!! God Bless America

  5. A lot of small businesses were decimated before this by big businesses. Big businesses are a greater threat than this virus has ever been.

  6. We're getting $1050 per week on unemployment in California right now, which is $26.25 an hour.
You're gonna have to pay more than that to convince me to come back to work amidst this pandemic.
Corporate never gave a crap about us at the bottom but now they want us to come help save their business?
    ‹(•¿•)› Good luck with that!

  7. 1:11 100% workforce reduction (EXCLUDING ESSENTIAL SERVICES) wow how can this be????
Its like someone put up a law or something saying if your not an essential service you cant be open!!!!

  8. Coronavirus is biowarfare at it's finest. And a new type of war we did not prepare for. It is the result of Our president backing out on a war declaration with Iran, after he ordered a uncommon attack and assasination on one of their leaders. They always had bio and chemical weapons, and we knew it. But our leader backed out of a fight declaration.

  9. No govt has a right to tell a business to close. Un constitutional. Keep voting for trash like deblasio and cuomo and see what happens.

  10. any small business owner would be smart to layoff people right away. the PPP will only pay for 2 weeks of wage cost. This will be lot longer than 2 weeks. Unemployment insurance is there for a reason. Business decisions can't be tainted by emotions, that's a fast way to go out of business.

  11. The problem is that these small businesses owners have a very high end lifestyles. Now there complaining that employees that were used to low income and hard work dont wanna come back during a pandemic so these selfish owners can profit from it. How about you forget your profits and work on your own like a mom and pop shop.
