Can't seem to get my indoor Neps to pitcher. I have lights and humidity for them.
hi brad, whats the humidity range yr N. Northiana gets? i just got some new seedgrown northiana red and i plan on bagging them to acclimate to 20-45% humidity. hopefully they wont have trouble pitchering.
All my carnis just live in the windows too when they can’t stay out in winter with the VFT when they go dormant
In your experience, do the windowsill plants grow better with additional heat/humidity?
That's impressive growing northiana there. I might have to try that. On the other hand, I think that N. pervillei and vieillardii are actually better suited for windowsill growing than any other method due to their very unusual habitat.
How would you deal with spider mites on Nepenthes? I bought my first carnivore, but now I'm seeing rusty specks on it, and I'm considering it may be spider mites.
I love that you grow nepenthes on your window in winter. They look good.
Actually i have a nepenthes spathulata and it has a 4-5 centimeters pitcher and i grow it on the windowsill, any tips?
I live in Scotland I don't know how to grow carnivorous plants year round with a heated greenhouse how do you do it brad because we don't have very warm summers and it gets very cold It looks like its going to be too expensive to heat year round. what should I do?
I struggled enough to convince my other half to let me have a greenhouse in the garden. I lost the battle when it came to growing my Nepenthes in the house.
I need another greenhouse!
