I know both of you have worked hard on this bill and all the hard work and effort if passed (which is highly doubtful understanding the history of politics and cannabis) it would be a stronger step forward in this unusually long extended unconstitutionally enacted global prohibition of cannabis. But if and when it passes then what?

How do you begin to heal the wounds of a hundred year war on the lives of people? Lives that are still being destroyed right now as at this same time many many others who were never subjected to the life soul crushing forces of cannabis's unjustified illegalities enforcement industry complex are banking billions and building a trillion dollar pharmaceutical infrastructure across the world.

These political baby steps are no longer what is needed in order to cure the problematic issues we now face with cannabis. There is only one solution and that is to completely remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act and take it off every law book in the world. The only laws that should be attributed to cannabis are laws governing is safety in growing if persons wish to grow and supply to a public business demand whether it be medical or recreational.

Anything other than focusing on this matter is political banter and worth nothing for peoples lives are still currently being destroyed over a scientifically proven benign plant that has not established a historical record of causing a fatality to one human soul on earth. The only thing politics wants to talk banking structure, stocks, VC money, pharmaceutical CBD (Big Bucks!$$$$$ whooopppeeee!!!$$) application cost analysis, zoning rights, grow rights, licensing rights etc, intercontinental transport rights etc…No one is focused on justice and the rights of the people who are now suffering under these unjust laws and continually with great unfairness, bias and bigotry subject to harassment, arrests and incarceration to keep the all out prison industrial complex circulating souls.

All companies banking billions like Aurora Cannabis, Cronos Group, GW Pharmaceutical, Tilray, Curaleaf Holdings, Harvest Health and Recreation, Acreage Holdings, Alphria, Cresco Labs, Charlottes Web Holdings, Hexo, Trulieve Cannabis, Med Men and even those who are simply holding monopolies in their home states with medical/rec cannabis franchises need to put in to some kind of justice fund. This great leap of business billionaires getting first in line to over take the international cannabis market must contribute something to justice. As does the U.S. government itself for unconstitutionally creating an unjust law to oppress its citizens.

If the NIDA can not prove that cannabis is dangerous, which they have not in over 50+ years of studying this plant it's time to start studying the healing properties of the plant since every human on the planet has an Endocannabinoid System in their bodies which this plant is specifically made for.
