Yeah they made it a controlled substance and banned it because of the threat to the industry. Then it was In 1974 researchers learned that THC, the active chemical in marijuana, shrank or destroyed brain tumors in test mice. Great to hear Rick Simpson is still going. He was forced into exile for all his good works years ago in Nova Scotia. if you haven't seen his story "Run from the Cure", watch it. It's a good story about a good guy trying to help people, and the authorities who "fight the war on drugs" at not only Rick's expense, but of all those he was helping.
