The DB class 481/482 is an elektric railcar designed for conductor rail operation used by the S-Bahn Berlin.
The first S-Bahn demonstration train in the world ever is the DB class 481/482.
The class is equipped with an electric or diesel motor and GEATRAC controls (AEG).
The front end of the class is fully glazed, making the interior design more attractive.
The seats are adjustable along the length of the train, and are set in a sitting mode (adjustable flat bed) in one direction and standing mode (step over) in the other.
The operator’s cabin has been configured for both drivers and conductors.
The steel floor of the railcars can be adjusted from 710 mm in the seating area to as low as 710 mm in the unoccupied length of the railcar.
Approximately 90% of the control panel are equipped with automatic programmable train control. These are centrally located in the operator’s cabin.
The bottom section of the roofs, above the running gear, are covered in glass, while both sides and the top section of the roofs are completely glazed. This means that you can also use the class 481/482 as a cabin while a coach is being loaded or as a coach while one is being emptied.
This class can be coupled with the DB class 481/482 (North Berlin) for bi-directional operation.

“performSelector:withObject:afterDelay:” not working inside thread
I have a problem with selectors in iOS 4.3.
I have a multithreaded application in which I have a method called that in it I do something like this:
[self performSelector:@selector(blabla:) withObject:string afterDelay: delay];
where string is a NSString and blabla: a method that takes NSString as parameter. The problem is that the performSelector is never called in the main thread, even if the delay is 0. What am I doing wrong?

I was trying to solve a performance issue when I asked the question. Actually, I have been suggested to use performSelectorOnMainThread:withObject

Synopsis
Jack (Huston) is a chief undercover detective for Interpol who goes rogue after being trapped in a situation where he cannot do anything about the criminal, Morgan Lacy (Reeves). Jack’s team arrives in Hong Kong. They find the bookstore and learn from the front desk staff that the target was not at work and that no one by the name of Lacy had entered the premises. As team members search the bookstore they are surprised by a number of guards, who are in turn repelled by the CIA agent. The CIA agent directs Jack and the NYPD detective to take the man of interest, Morgan’s brother, Arvin (Lamy). The two team members chase after him. Morgan is denied entry to the lobby as a result of his criminal record. During a fight, Jack stabs Morgan in the neck several times in the hallway. Jack and his comrade then put a gun to Morgan’s head, but he subdues them, which causes Jack to switch sides. Morgan reveals who he is, as well as the purpose of his mission.
Morgan and his brother, Ollie (Gilford), are complicit in a plan for a drug deal in Hong Kong. They have their own DEA contact, Alyssa (Stange), provide the team with their counterfeit cocaine. The team is ambushed and instructed to hand over the drugs and the documents. Morgan and his brother are also instructed to hand over any contact information that they have for the DEA. His brother is fatally shot. Morgan escapes a trap with Jack. One of the team members is shot, and Jack uses him as a hostage in lieu of the rest of the team.
