  1. Excellent lie detectors… Oh yeah. Right. More body language “experts”. Authoritarian Self delusion. Observational bias. Bigots or “excellent lie detectors”… which is it? Guilty till proven innocent. How would they check their “lie detector” abilities? How many guilty get through because humans are not very good lie detectors. How many innocent people do they hassle because they “know” you are lying. Someone told me the US doesn’t engage in profiling. Of course they do. That is what bigotry is. “Excellent lie detectors” my a##. Unearned confidence in their observational skills. Have they checked their “lie detectors” skills with different cultures, different social status, different health conditions? This pretty little skin head does not fill me with confidence. The police only know what they tell themselves.

  2. Yup… it's a question of NATIONAL SECURITY. America… the land of 330 MILLION citizens (the "ELEPHANT") is TERRIFIED that someone who's smoked a joint (the "MOUSE") will devastate the nation. It really doesn't get much more ridiculous than this.
We haven't been to the states in two decades nor have we smoked a joint. We'll spend our time and money right here at home. It's America's loss and Canada's gain. We can only hope millions of Canadians get the message that the "Land of the Free" no longer exists and they are at RISK if they choose to travel there. US police can and WILL arrest and detain anyone they wish.
Yes, you might be completely innocent but that doesn't matter in the USA. If you are innocent, you likely will be set free – after weeks/months of incarceration or detention and tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees. They don't care how much hassle they cause. SO WHY ON EARTH WOULD ANYONE WANT TO GO THERE?
