Luce is a smart psychological thriller that will leave audiences breathless. An all-star high school athlete and accomplished debater, Luce (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) is …
I do not know what to make of it. What's the moral or perhaps the immorality of the story? Do we think it is okay to use people against others to make things right? That in itself is recipe for future Karma.
The "acting like Not acting " was spot on. An odd kind of malice and Not knowing what happened. You learn nothing of Luce's past but for fleeting moments in accent changes, facial expressions. Tense, .amazing performances all around, so much hidden and inferred. It was a subtle and brilliantly executed revenge tale. And we all still hear the lambs screaming, don't we? 4 out of 5. I bought it.
Perfect movie. Loved every minute of it….blood is thicker than water. Always.
I suggest not paying to watch this movie. Wait until its available on Netflix. The movie is good and had sooooo much potential, it's one of those movies where the ending leaves you with absolutely ZERO satisfaction, as if the filmmaker hopes to make a sequel… The acting is superb by all of the actors involved, it's a shame that the director let them down with such a SHITTY ending.
This shit is another propaganda film. White supremacy (government, hollyweird, etc.)is always providing platform to instigate matters that either don't exist or is minimal. Leave us (American Descendants of Slaves, ADOS) along by giving us our reparations and let us tell our own stories without your interference. If we have issues with those in the global African diaspora we will handle it yourself without you. This movie is painting a picture that there is a conflict between ADOS and Africans, while the White "savior" comes in with their cape to save the day…..STOP IT!
