I find Letitia amazingly refreshing! One suggestion I have for the homeless could be the city acquiring sturdy buildings with back taxes and other debt to be refurbished for public housing. The city may take over the property entirely OR make arrangements with the owners.
Ensure ALL owner debts are paid INCLUDING toxic cleanups coupled with any back taxes and penalties to make it easy for the city to acquire these rundown, delinquent properties from the owners.
Many owners should be fined for illegally abandoning these buildings in such bad conditions in the first place. Buildings left unattended are dangerous and eyesores.
Of course, this idea needs refinements, but I think it is sensible with many buildings left standing and unused in the city. Revitalize areas that are healthy for everybody and demolish unusable buildings for small parks as well as parking needs. Be sure these buildings have electrical and plumbing systems in good working order…
Coordinate with public transportation to establish services as neighborhoods are made habitable again.
Global Warming is a hoax and the temperature got colder few years ago. This lady is clueless on climate change. She wants more programs for more taxes for a bigger paycheck.
Support unions so they can support her. Don't expect the roads to be their priority though
