I am a veteran who suffers from PTSD, severe depression and anxiety. Medical cannabis is what saved me from going off the deep end. I also know several other veterans who benefited from medical cannabis. The government has no problem over medicating veterans with prescription opioids and other addictive medications, but yet you have people who are against cannabis because they are stuck in the reefer madness days and can't get past it. There are 2 types of people who are against legal cannabis, the ones who are ignorant to the subject and the ones who keep making money off of it by it being illegal.
I am a 100% Disabled Veteran, 30% Service Connected, and I have cancer.. If that is not enough, on my plate, The VA tests me for marijuana, which is legal in my State, NH, for medical use, and if I test positive for weed, by the VA, then the VA limits my care and treatment by denying me pain medication for my degenerative disc disease.. I have Prostate Cancer and my PSA Score was @9.1 in January.. Since then I have been using THC Oil and CBD Oil and my PSA Score has gone down to 7.8, and it is my belief that if I continue my self treatment the cancer will be killed totally.. The VA, right away, wanted to take my prostate out, (peeing in an adult diaper for a year) and a 2nd opinion (outside the VA) said they wanted me to continue what I am doing, but if I do the VA will limit my care and treatment, and will not fund the outside "Contractor" which promotes marijuana (THC/CBD) use.. a rock and a hard place is where you can find me, if you happen to look..
