  1. Its difficult to diagnose schizophrenia , psychosis from mania , bipolar so there is no evidence as cannanis use increased schizophrenia increased as many people will be wrongly diagnosed and i have SEEN and been with people who have been wrongly diagnosed for years & years before schizophrenia diagnosis. Schizophrenia then has classic feature of anosognosia patients suffering from it dont realise they are ill so dont seek help and dont everr want to go to doctors.

  2. Where you are in your life affects the effects of cannabis…
If your in a bad place your more likely to get negative enforcements from cannabis. If your in a good place and a positive period of your life you are more likely to get the positive effects of cannabis.

  3. Cannabis will always correlate with depression because it has been proven to help with depression, (northern lights is one specific strain that is famous for its mental health benefits)same thing goes for depression and depression pills – they will alway correlate

  4. After a long break from weed and then re-introducing it back into my lifestyle, I noticed it made me feel tired, nervous, and dopey in the sense I was less alert and unable to think clearly. It also adversely affects breathing/asthma, and therefore I don't belief having it in your life benefits you whatsoever. Having a few bongs once a month is fine, and probably beneficial as it helps you have a laugh and relax from time to time with friends/family. But daily use, or even 3 times a week use, will hurt you and hold you back, you'll be a better person for eliminating it out of your life.

  5. All this time I’m like “psychosis is going up because of the times we live in, massive income inequality and social media, climate change, etc.”. Weed got nothing to do with it. It’s sad how we’re still fighting off these stupid stigmas.

  6. This guy is so disconnected from reality. I live in a small town. A lot of my friends and I have been smoking heavy for +8 years and we all have meaningful conversations. None of us go crazy after smoking. We see things how they are as tough as it is. Duh you don’t give someone who’s a bit off weed. It’s common sense.

  7. I never had depression till I started smoking pot. It progressively got worse too. I’m finally sober and my mental health is the best it’s been since I was a young kid. I’m my case the negative effects of thc outweighed the positive and that’s why I quit.

  8. I believe the spike in 95 might have been teens who gave up after Kurt killed himself. I mean Nirvana had an incredible amount of dedicated fans. At least it probably contributed to it. Sad stuff man

  9. Cannabis has healed me.

it has healed me and the damage i had from carbon monoxide poisoning and my depression. Contrary to belief it has helped my memory caused by the damage from the carbon monoxide poisoning. it has cured the respiratory issues caused from this also. Most importantly it has rewired or reset my brain for happiness. Wherever the head goes the body follows. Growing itself has so many benefits and its easy. How to grow your own cannabis. There is a simple 7 easy step guide on Amazon. Use quotations in the Amazon search. "Grow YourOwn". Grow cannabis for super cheap and it is super healthy and super safe. Grow your own medicinal cannabis. The benefits from growing are just as great as the consumption. It will open your mind and heal your body if you grow in the same room you sleep in. it is magical and it will control your life and fix it. Here is my story…….

When i was in my early twenties i had a large amounts of alcohol and probably a few other things in one evening. It was a night of joy and sorrow combined. The pendulum swings both ways. The night ended with me attempting suicide mainly because of a recent D.U.I. , the death of a loved one, separated with my girlfriend and a couple of other traumatic events. I was supposed to die but for some reason only my mind was wiped out after a long hospital visit. almost like a reset. i had to relearn so many things and my memory was erased. literally a 3 second memory span for years. I came so close to death. Oddly enough that was 25+ years ago in my mid 40's, Yet here I am with the will to live, grow, nurture, heal, love. sometimes i get chills over my entire body thinking about it. if you want to know more check out my book on Amazon "Grow YourOwn" use quotes in search and type exact.

  10. Let me shine the brightest light on this supposed increase of serious mental health rises in the US this clown is talking about.
1st and foremost and absolutely correct the reason why thier is an increase is because the big pharma companies and lobbyists and corporate sponsors and Drs are all in on this let's make a new drug for every issue someone complains about.
    Example woman goes to Dr
Dr asks women hows she feeling
Women responds Dr a lil sad a lil depressed going through a divorce.
Dr says here try some Lexapro it's the newest thing works great
3 month follow up woman still sad and depressed Dr says here's some Effexor works great.
3 month follow up still sad and depressed Dr says here is some Celexa women says I got a lil pain in my back too Dr says here is some Cymbalta which is a antidepressant too. Meanwhile all this goes into a file that women is being treated for Severe depression
Same goes for bipolar disorder drugs.
It's just people have different personalities and ways of processing shit meanwhile they're labeled and treated for mental health issues when there is no real issue to begin with. Also the increased risks of suicidal thoughts acts and attempts.

  11. Smoked Mariuhana for 2 years frequently. Recently almost got a psychosis and it triggered strong depression and existential anxiety for me. Thought I knew the „herb“ well.
Man, this thing was so nice, but I could have easily destroyed my life. Fr.
Kids, do not smoke weed if you are underage. +Dont drink. It is not worth it, wait until you are grown up and then you can try

  12. He talks about psychosis regarding marijuana and uses that as a reason to say it’s not medicine but doesn’t reference any big pharmaceuticals and all of the side effects associated with just about all of them. This dudes a full blown moron. National levels of mental illness from 2008-now has nothing to do with the opioid crisis or anything.

  13. It's so funny, he's correlating all the good mental health behaviors, drinking less, smoking less, waiting to have sex longer, less abortions…to social media, when , in fact, those are some side effects of weed smoking….

  14. A lot more likely to be taking Adderall and every other known drug in the medicine cabinet for mental illness! When the actual cure is get off your ass and go socialize in person.

  15. i really dont think this guy or the ppl he gets his “research” frm know shit. they’re trying to put a blanket statement on all cannabis users when it varies for all ppl. i was jus at rolling loud literally every mf there of all ages was smokin weed n were completely normal.

  16. i have been a regular user for many years and it sevearly incrises my depression when im a daily user, i have quit a couple of times and it gets better when im not using. Its not legal in my country and i get it were i can but i can safely say that it does not help my mental health at all just the contrary. I hate to say it because i love smoking but i cant lie to myself and say it has no effect on my mental health.
