well if you apply sales tax to it like everything else it will be like any other recreational drug on the market. So in short i think the people seeing the government is making less and less in taxes due to people buying less and earning less needed a way to generate more in taxes. They already know people want cannabis to be legal so a small tax on it like the general sales tax will make the government alot in just a sales tax income increase.
