  1. Hey everyone, I just wanted to put out some #WholesomeContent this week in these rona times. Just put this on in the background and if you recognize a plant that I don't seem to know (hint: they're more towards the end of the video because I wanted y'all to see that I knew a few 😅) hit me up with the timecode and let me know below. Above all things, I hope you're safe and well. I'll see you when I see you.

  2. I´m just a beginner and everybody has probably told you already, but as much as I know chinese evergreens are low-light so you should keep that in mind. Also the easy vine plant is a pothos

Hope this was in any way helpful :3

  3. Recently I got this app on my phone called "PictureThis," and it identifies plants. It's accurate most of the time, it really helps! But I'm sure you can find an app that works for you.

  4. The algorithm brought me here, and I just subscribed because your vibe is incredible and your plants are adorable.
Just wanted to note to anyone who may not know that a lot of your houseplants are toxic to animals and other friends with curious mouths. Especially your ZZ plant, pothos, and the mystery croton at about 16 minutes in. I'm sure your puppy is smart, and you probably know this already, so sorry if that's the case lol
    I hope you're having a lovely day 💗

  5. 10:09 is a diffenbachia! It's related to the agleonema so they look at lot alike
11:25 is a pothos! They're super easy to take care of!
    12:02 is a hoya carnosa!
12:59 is a pilea pepermoides (I think that's how you spell it)
14:45 is a tradescantia zebrina! They're so pretty, I love purple plants
15:56 is some type of Croton? Also, those are mealy bugs! I like to take a q tip or papertowel that's soaked in rubbing alcohol and directly wipe them off. They're kinda gross lol but that, with regularly spraying the plants with neem oil (mixed with water) keeps them away. I'd also put that one in isolation so they don't spread to the other plants lol.

  6. A cheap way to prevent bugs is to use a soap and water mix to cover all the soil, leaves, and edge of the pot (give it a thorough water basically), it can help prevent/kill numerous pests. Hope that helps 🌱

  7. You're such an enjoyable person to watch. Your attitude towards plants and living creatures is great. We need more people like you, with that positive view of life. I just found you and subscribed 👏🏾

  8. Chinese evergreen (aglomena), pothos (epipremnum aureum), Hoya Carnosa, Hyacinth. Hyacinth is a bulb. Your bulbs, the hyacinth and amaryllis, will continue to bloom yearly if you give them a rest period. You could try releasing some lady bugs on the plants with aphids. Really enjoyed your video and plants!

  9. Aphids are a sign of too much nitrogen intake. Nitrogen lets your plants leaves grow, something you want in leafy plants but not too much. If plants grow too fast they produce too little sturdy plant matter so the aphids can poke the stems and suck the juice. Aphids have a waxy coating to prevent anything in the moisture in the air to attack them, like funghi. Spray your plants (top and bottom of the leaves and all stems but not so much the potting medium with a very, very, very light dishwashing soapy water. Funghi will take care of the aphids then. If you are too scared of over-soaping your plants (I recommend a shower a week after each application). You could get some ladybugs by mail order and release them in your house, they and their larvae feed on aphids. Don't air out your apartment or bring your plants outside for a few days though. You don't want the beetles to fly away.
After you got rid of the aphids I recommend repotting all your plants, your potting medium is way too humous (therefore too nutrient rich and therefore too much nitrogen), I can tell from here, from the other side of the planet. ^^
Learn about each individual plant you have: about their favorite potting medium, what light intensity they like, how much water they prefer (lots of plants get overwatered only a few need to be constantly moist) and if they like to be moved – most plants are not so keen on getting turned or moved around.

  10. So cute. New subscriber. Love ❤the elephant🐘 planter where did you get it from? I was going to cut a hole in an elephant toy figure and spray paint it for an air plant because I can't seem to find a nice looking one.

  11. Was just gonna enjoy a plant tour and move on. Buuuttt you mentioned you're a texan!!! [SUBSCRIBED] immediately. Lol. 🤦🏽‍♂️ and ure more south than I am (austin). Always good to see someone with a thriving plant or figuring out a plant problem with similar growing conditions. … and #CSRunite. Lol

  12. Hey gorgeous lady! Just found your videos and I am so glad I did!
I once kept an Amaryllis after it was done with blooming. Its bulb grew huge (2-3 times larger what it originally was) and leaves grew taller and thicker. Nobody believed it was an Amaryllis. I just kept it as a normal houseplant, after giving it some fertilizer it really was growing fast and strong. It was a proud, handsome entity. When we moved I gave it to a neighbor, Finnish winters are brutal and I didn't want to risk freezing it.

  13. Love the intro! I am a new subscriber and I suggest checking out house plant journal's channel. He is very good with giving advice on insects. he recently did a video on aphids and he has one on mealy bugs (they are currently my plant problem.. UGH!!) Nice video. I enjoyed watching.

  14. 11:20 ish the vine plant, it’s a pothos! Super Easy and beautiful lush plants that come in so many variegated leaf styles! You can actually cut and propagate the leaves from the air roots nodes 🙂 they do well with lower light as well! Just water and keep near bright spaces- but I believe he was a golden pothos 🙂
The vine after is a Hoya I believe the tricolor 🙂 I have one as well that gives me pink leaves! Make sure to let her get super pot bound as she grows and you can get blooms in the future you can also pin the vines down(with a hair pin or unfold a paper clip) over open dirt areas and it will proceed to root and give out new growth, thus takes time and be cautious with water..they prefer distilled water where I am In Connecticut and also give her a lots of light! When watering make sure to let dry out and then a good drink- don’t let the tips of the vine dry out tho, they will break off and start over but the extra attention to get to the point when a Hoya finally blooms, I can promise it’s the most magical experience and fragrance! They are also called wax flowers if you want to check them out-they look like origami ⭐️ stars:) again hopes that helps!
