Online they say that 'Hass Avocado' is zone 9 and up, zone 9 is 21 degrees to 30 degrees 'Fahrenheit', so chances are that it would survive this winter, yet with some damage.

You should be fine with avocados outside where you live Diana providing it's a hardier Mexican variety, there's plenty of videos with them fruiting North of San Francisco. There is even a video of a huge avocado fruit outside here in London, UK and we are almost 53 degrees North !! 😲😲
