so i used a script with dcpatty’s new hash-cat feature to crack the wpa2-psk key on my linksys befsr41 wireless router. the hash was generated from the ‘1st’ most popular website on the internet, and this was done in less than 30 seconds! because the ssh feature i used to login to the router works through the ssid rather than the wan ip address for wan access, i was able to login to the router using the wifi ssid that i was cracking rather than the wan ip address i had direct access to. once i was logged in i was able to download the wifi passwords from the router using the wget command-line on my linux computer. i’m sure everyone has heard of the wget command-line tool, but this is a simple ‘hack’ that i just found that i thought you all would like to know about! a little note before i continue: the cracking of wpa2-psk keys is a fairly simple process, but be careful of brute-forcing because the process does eventually stop working if the network sees to much activity.
to crack your wifi with ipaidwifi i am still looking for a way. when we crack that wpa2-psk we can then get the pass code by using a reverse google search for the bssid. another method is by doing a brute-forcing attack, by using my defcon 4 presentation to explain how to crack wpa2-psk keys in 5 minutes.
it is not as simple as just enter the password and gain access. your neighbor might get very unhappy with you.

assuming the ssid name is “home”, then the process is: search for the string “home” on google. copy the url that comes up. rename it “home.lst” (and make sure the file extension isn’t “.lst” if you rename it). open that file in your favorite text editor. make a note of the word that comes after “home” rename the “home.lst” file to “home.txt”. open up a command prompt on the computer you’re using right now and type: wps-ansible.py.
the password passphrase is never stored, so that the attack is protected against password dump. this means that, even if you re-install the operating system, you will be able to re-run the attack on your router. the final analysis of the attack is performed offline on the computer where the attack was run. you can use the generated text file to crack wpa/wpa2/tkip psk. you can download the dictionary file here currently the dictionary file is limited to only rfc3686 dictionary; for more security, please refer to wps2-tools . make sure you connect the ethernet cable while booting your device, wps must be enabled on the router. start the pre-computed attack on the router.
if you use the dictionary file you can generate the txt file and then you can convert the txt file to image file and then save it to a usb.or any media that can be mounted as a drive. this makes it easy to use it on multiple network router.
amazing site. the best part is, if you try to repeat the attack, you won’t get the same results, it will be a bit different every time. using a txt file is probably the best method. at least it’s less likely to be flagged by the router. the first time you run the attack it can take a while.
