  1. That grow light looks like it’s going to work really well for you. Looking forward to the updates.
Too bad it’s so expensive, I’ve been wanting a grow light, but not at that price lol

  2. Full spectrum light really doesn't have anything to do with what seeds or plants or size of plants you can use it with. Full spectrum light is just that, all light waves, so it essentially mimics the same light you would get from sunshine, hence why there are different colored LEDs, white, blue, red, and IR.

  3. Hi yes I have decided to give this a go and I’m ordering my grow tent today, quite exciting! I reckon with our usual summer weather I can justify the cost! Thanks for idea, never knew such a thing existed! Fiona N Ireland 🍅 🍅 🍅

  4. A 1000w version of this light in a 34”x34” tent at. 24” height from plants will amaze anyone with growing lettuce or even tomatoes. So obviously 2000 is always better 😉

Give little gem romaine a shot under these lights- you’ll be in heaven.

Put a fan over the drivers, electronics and heat = diminished longevity- just another way to protect your investment. They do get warm- real warm…. one simple fan cuts temps by 10’s of degrees – worth the little extra time-

This in that 2×4 will make you happy, just exhaust the tent too, don’t need to go crazy on venting, don’t need a scrubber- just keep the air exiting. Ambient heat will increase with this light-

Tie the loose ends of the quick clamps or even put a knot in the rope at the lights lowest useable- if ratchet in clamp breaks it will prevent rope from slipping though clamp and light dropping .

One tomato and one pepper would be ideal to focus on, any more plants than that once they get bigger will just be a cluster in that size room with that light.

You made a great video for your audience- enjoy the grow!

  5. I saw your video about your watering system I'm thinking of putting a drip system in four containers. I will run from the outside faucet but will the chlorine that's in the water I have city water. Affect the growth or does it not matter. Thanks I love your videos I just been watching him for a month now and I've learned so much.

  6. I really enjoy this channel but a request please as part of this review…
If you know a radio ham, please consider asking him/her to check those lights for radio interference. If you have been involved in any of your national disasters, you will know that radio hams provide a vital service to the community when normal communications fail. Your local emergency services would also appreciate their radio not being wiped out either. Cheap lighting tends to be shoddily designed, but the more expensive stuff isn't always immune.

  7. Just want to make a helpful note. I tried an experiment a few years back and had beautiful tomato plants but no fruit. After a lot of research I had almost given up but found humidity can affect pollinization. If the humidity is too high the grains of pollen will not self pollinate. Now I used a HID which generates a lot of heat and that might make a difference.

  8. Friend, are you busy recently, sorry for bother you again.:)

will find more surprise of it(It is very popular, you will earn a lot of commissions) ^ ^

  9. Hi, I think the 12:12 light cycle for this light refers to the flower stage of a particular plant that rhymes with bannabis 😉 It could be for other plants too, but I’m pretty sure veggies and fruits would stay at 18:6.

I’ve had the SF-2000 for a month or so and so far I love it! It didn’t work well on a 3” tomato I tried it on, but I just need to figure out the right distance. Best of luck on your trial run!

  10. I live in Indiana and may look to do this in the Fall. I have been wanting to grow in doors year round since we only get about 4 months of grow time for tomatoes. Thank you so much for sharing!!

  12. Cool toy :),
Did you mention the model you were reviewing? I think they have several models available.
I’ve seen a thorough review from Al at AlboPepper, another great guy.

  13. I'm interested in following this. Pricepoint is higher than I can afford. I purchased several multi-spectrum LED lights including six 2-foot long LED tubes and a 10" x 4" panel (pinks and purple lights). The tomatoes are happy. All the others (2 types of peppers, 2 cukes, several herbs) are slugging along on a different time zone. The cukes are way far behind in schedule compared to the tomatoes. I wish I knew how to test these types of lights. It would be great to not be tied to Indiana weather and lack of sunny days with reliable and affordable lights such as this kit.

  14. Funny that this video showed up on my recommendations because November 2019 I started growing vegetables indoors. I’m new to gardening so I have been reading and researching a lot. I stated with growing jalapeño peppers and last month I did my first harvest and made jalapeño poppers. It was cool having food growing when snow was on the ground.

I have grape tomatoes, lettuce (romaine/red leaf), cucumbers, Roma tomatoes and other things growing as well 🙂. I start all my vegetables under blue light spectrum and for my flowering plants I move to LED red light spectrum. I can’t wait until I have a ton of vegetables growing so I can constantly harvest and eat.

  15. I'm so jealous 🥰!!
Tho like you said I can grow lettuce inside with just cheap little lights LED lights of almost any kind and I do, hydroponically. But to get fabulous vegetables inside you definitely need a nice light like that.
I can't afford to grow along with you but I'll definitely be watching for more videos on it.

  16. I started all of my seedling this year and if you are interested I can send you pics of everything I started and will be putting in the ground this weekend. I didn't have any seed die or not start. I got my seeds from baker and am having fantastic results in y two grow tents. I have a lot of butter crunch and it's doing fantastic also. I am going to grow Tomatoes inside all the way to production. I'm glad to see you starting this. I put some cheap plastic shelves ,$20 per setup and I have to have at least 60 plants per tent. Also I have learned so much from you and have been gardening for many years. Thank you!

  17. I'm in Ohio. I like your idea, so I'm going to try to grow indoors, too!
We still haven't been able to plant our tomatoes because it still freezes at night! Last night, even!
    Cheers!

  18. Might be cool to put a mini hydroponic system in there for the leafy greens wouldn’t take up to much space..here in south Fl ,I have had good luck, but curious to see how our hot ,rainy summer works out.either way a fun project..

  19. Looks like a fantastic system but hard to justify the expense, although it would be great to have fresh tomatoes in Minnesota in the wintertime!!! It will be fun to follow your experiment!

  20. Exciting! I think I’m going to wait to see if you are able to get subs a discount. I would love homegrown tomatoes in the winter Also, sending love and prayers for your test today. Praying for great news for you 🤪

  21. This is a little too pricey for my budget BUUUUUT, for those of us with white fly, blight and other disease and fungal issues, this might also save you money on organic pesticides and anti-fungals. I’d love to have this product to be able to grow cool weather crops all year round. In south Florida where it gets up in the 100’s during the summer, not to mention Hurricanes, this would be a blessing. Also something else that comes to mind, if you lose power, you can hook it up to a portable generator or even solar power if you have that capability. Brian, as usual, great video sir!!

  22. I tried growing tomatoes under lights but it didn't work very well due to absence of pollinators for the flowers, I'll be very interested in how you manage this.

  23. Really interested in the updates, I live in the north of the UK and although we get long daylight hours often our summers are cool and not very bight!

  24. Cool. I have an hydroponic aero garden which does well inside. I’ve started some seeds inside in some trays with the window light. It will be interesting to see how these grow lights in the tent work.

  25. Brian: Looking forward to seeing how this works. I once has my own greenhouse and miss going out to it in the middle of an Oregon winter to get some light and tend my plants. This looks like it would give you the ability to turn any room in the house into a greenhouse.

  26. O thank you. This is so exciting. Been thinking of getting one of these. I’ll let u know if I can acquire one. Would love to do this journey with you. ❤️.

  27. Sounds well and good, but what about a power outage. Then you're screwed. So let's continue to trust God to provide us with what we need. And, that's FREE!!

  28. I have three Vipar spectra 300 W LED lights, among A few other type of grow lights. One of them is about a third of the cost of the system you have so a little bit more affordable if you can’t afford the more expensive ones. This is my second year running them and I’ve done a couple grows as well as vegetable and flower grows under them. My tomato plants grew fruit before I was able to plant them outside in our cold southern Saskatchewan climate. So I just let them be so it’s definitely very possible. Very interested in watching your videos on this. I am thinking I will be doing the same over this winter.

  29. This is the 1st time i started seeds inside,so i bought a Maiicy 1200w gro light, what is your intake on this light.

  30. Hi Brian. Thanks for another great video. I live in a northern state with some pretty rough winters. I can’t wait til I get my tomatoes going in the spring! I think this set-up is great. However it is cost-prohibitive and it’s huge! I definitely will follow along. I can’t wait to see how it works for you. I know you have 2 others to review. I’m hoping they’re a bit smaller and less expensive. I sure hope I can have tomatoes all year!
