A few good nuggets of truth here, but the PC trend to demonize Columbus is not altogether justified. Adam never mentioned the fact that Columbus was basically an Italian navigator/contractor who was given direct orders by The Holy See and the Spanish Royal Family to bring back gold at any price. If you really want to blame anyone for the atrocities, blame the Catholic Church and the king & queen of Spain. Columbus was Italian and his Spanish wasn’t that great. He did mention in his diary that the natives were “una gente in Dio” a people in God. Not one mention of that.
