18 is not adult because think about it the year before you were just 17 and that is considered a child so your basically telling someone who was a child the year before you now an adult just because of a year.

I am almost 17, Personally I don't consider 18 year olds adults, Not just because of that being my perspective, But 18 year olds just don't seem mature enough to be adults, It made more sense back then, Because in like the 40's, 50's, And 60's and 70's, You where expected to grow up at 18, You where expected to go to war, Have a job, And what not, Nowadays it just kinda seems like a joke, Because 18 year olds still live with there parents and don't really do actually adult things, They just use the whole "iM 18 i cAn dO wHaTeVeR i WaNt" card

Me being 23 years old I would never understand for the life of me how people actually think 23 and 25 is a big difference as if a two year difference makes someone a lot older then u I’ve seen several times in the comments how people say oh once u turn 25 your officially an adult as if a 25 year old has that much life experiences then someone 23 or 24 it makes no sense and I’m still tryna figure out within a year or two how much different my mentality as an adult is gonna be I can’t wait *sarcastic * 😂😂

18 may be the age to be legally an adult. Being a GROWN UP is a choice, a learned trait.
Here’s the problem with modern society, first biologically your an adult if you can bear children, that technically is the age around 14. Society should stop coddling children from 14 to 18, . Parents / teachers, need to prepare the youth for adult hold before 18, the youth could technically start a family, boys are behind girls, but there has to be no gender discrimination. It’s the grey area 4 yrs that cause the most trouble , they are intelligent enough to make their own decisions, but parents and society treat them like they are 8 yrs old. After puberty, they are going to do what .they want to do. So make sure the right knowledge is implanted by this age , not 18-21. They are capable of far more than society gives them credit. Of course not vote, or drink beer, but prepare them for the pitfalls of drugs and alcoholism, treat them with the respect that they could work, learn money, even parenting. The saying they grow up fast is so true, if some seem to be slow learners it’s because we teach them to slow, a parent technically has a very short time to instil and teach the young before he is an adult, after that the children are on their own. We need to stop thinking that we are not animals, we are. Nature Ivan give us our best learning examples, learn and adapt, sorry for the book here…

In this October, I will turn 12!
There is nothing special about the age of 18. Nothing happens when a person turns 18 years old. When a person turns 18 years old they don't all of a sudden magically turn into a big mature responsible adult that can now handle anything. It doesn't work that way and any person that thinks that and believes that is an idiot. When I turned 18 years old absolutely nothing happened and absolutely nothing changed. I was exactly the same as I was the day before I turned 18 years old.
Already at 18, I studied Auto Mechanics, paid for my own car parts on several occasions, lived in the jungle at age 21 for 2 months, studied Welding after that went through a crisis of being shot at, paying for my lawyer fees when I was accused, been broke twice (on my second time of being broke still), on top of that being in 4 cults while being the victim of 7 hate crimes in one of those cults, no justice received. Am I an adult now? After all I’m currently broke and looking for work, you’re an adult at age 18 but when a crisis hits, you ACTUALLY turn into a man or a woman.
The drinking age in England is 18, feel sorry for 18 year olds in America lol.

Nature says they all do not reach it at they precise same time and age of 18 years, it various per teenager. Many females reach it by 17 years and many males by 18 years. 100% completion of puberty is when nature sees them as a teenage adult no longer a teenage kid, although the law sees them all at 18 years old.
