In episode 2 of the Modern Cannabists podcast we discuss the vape cart situation and contemplate the future of cannabis vaporizers and dry herb vaping.
It's vitamin e acetate being put in the cartridges. It was coating people's lungs with the oils, making them unable to breath.
anyone know a great dry herb or vape pen thats good for newbs, like im in florida and im getting my medical card soon so hopefully if i happen to vape itll be at a good dispensary ( also something thatll be easy to use)
Regarding @5:33 Do you ever heard of the outstanding tobacco bonds in the billions the state of New York has? They are directly tied to the vape ban in New York.
Flower forever, it is the source. I would recommend if you wish concentrate learn to extract your own, and by own I mean what you have grown yourself.
As I understand the share of gov funding is linked to ciggerett sales. As vaping is not considered tobacco the states are loosing funding. That being said I believe the casualties of the recent problems are as Troy says, is related to demand and availablility leads to shoddy prepared knock-offs.
I love my dry herb vaporizer. I buy good flower and know what I’m putting in my body.
It's a known fact that Big Tobacco industry's have been working on trying to get into the legal weed bizThey want to cut out all small businesses for sure.

Another reason why lots of people dont vape herb is because they think vaporizers are just fancy devices for rich people to smoke weed. Its because it's so expensive for a good vaporizing device, make it more affordable like the dynavape and you will convert more people.
I’m a huge fan of decarbing CBD flower for edibles. It’s less drowsy than THC edibles and it keeps in your system a while. No smoke in the lungs. Full spectrum direct from the plant. No oils no gummies. No synthetic processes whatsoever. Decarbing changed my life.

They banned vapes in my states legal shops for ILLEGAL THC CART DEATHS all yocan pens ANY PENS its totally ass backwards. Legalize pot. Youll never get rid of blackmarket, but if people could choose tested carts over blackmarket which is HALF AS MUCH FOR TWICE AS MUCH then obviously they would. But they make it so fucking expensive to be safe. I smoked one tko cart one time and didnt like it so i went back to dabs and pot. This is all meant to line pockets not save lives shit i wouldnt be the least bit shocked that it was big tobacco that poisoned people or even made it up completely just to corner the market and buy these vape companies out. State law makers as well….gee if the blackmarket is not accessible and the ONLY OPTION is their over priced legal pot…what would you call that? Ill give u a hint ( go to jail, go directly to jail do not pass go) quality shouldnt equal too much for the average person to afford. Whole foods is a good example. Look how expensive their "healthier" option is over raman noodles that hv to be processed more, or veg. Over the price of cookies. They make bad shit cheap and shit you wanna eat to be healthy to be NORMAL, twice as much. They want us dead. they see us as sheep not people.these state wide bans arent to help people…youre taking away small business and ppls freedoms its to line state reps pockets for "allowing" these to come back into stores. I think the real news is that it’s already stated that the black market thc cartridges are something to stay away from UNLESS you know the source or company’ But vaping dry herbs is something else. (Black market: bad—>Same for black market cigarettes and underground weed & hash, alcohol and so on)
For years/decades weed&hash has been sold here mixed with whatever would go in .. (oil, animal fat glass, and so on) You always had the risk on a “bad buy” and then you would move over to the next shop. (Shops are not illegal here, only the content/goods they sell)
The media crisis that’s going on right now is aimed at Smokers who banned cigarettes and (all people that) started vaping eliquids in general. E cigs (good point) might dragg the dry herb vape industry down the hill .. but I still consider main focus is on ecigs and eliquid. (Market share weed is too big?)
Still a bad situation though.
Dabbs and concentrates are banned here and will never reach market for us (unless you make it yourself)
I can keep going on on this but I’m afraid it’s pointless since it’s out of control” already (India total banning of ecigs and Trump saying stuff)

Today the biggest independent news station in my country: released again False reports on illnesses and Vaping flavored eliquid(!) where it says ALL flavored eliquid will make you sick 🙁
Also that the first cases of illness (3 out of 1000) are “found” here in Holland , after a survey done bij lung docters.
(There is black market here as well, same for DIY sellers who offer cheap eliquid made in their kitchen..)
My personal opinion is that big Tobacco has Won this battle on Eliquids and eliquid vaporizers. (how crazy it may sound)

A company came out saying they used vitamin e as a filler. The flavor eliquids are being stopped cause kids are getting sick. Most people that got sick are young. It's bullshit because they are asking and interviewing kids when kids shouldn't be using them. As far as trump and shit goes they don't know. Britain has told everyone that it's 95% safer then smoking. Big tabbaco owns juul now. It's crazy. In May everyone that sells eliquids has to get a special certificate already. Now with this shit it's crazy.

So, in the root of it, it's consumers who creat the problem since they drive demand. Wouldn't it be just better for everyone if everyone consumed only what they can produce, herb or oil or anything? 😊

We need to get guys like you (plural) and get more videos to educate these government officials on the diffrence between e cigs flower vaping…vaping in general and the differences. E juice cant be grouped w salt nic just like blackmarket carts are diffrent from reliable growers/vendors. This was created to push w.e. directions the need us to go so they male the most. Keep this stuff coming. You guys kick ass!

Living in NYC not one person besides myself that I know of is aware of dry herb vaporizers til they see me post or chill with me, but they all seem to know thc carts as it has flooded the market and now everyone in every corner now has someone selling it that swears it is from California. That is the normal NYC hood line that entices people to think they are getting legit oil when in reality it is the hotdog water that is killing people

Here’s my theory as to what’s happening.Somebody decided it would be a good idea to use vitamin E acetate as a coloring,thickening and cutting additive.Its very thick and very light colored,well that shit will give you Lipid Pneumonia,and you have to remember when they are asking these kids what they vaped,obviously they are gonna lie their asses off when felonies are involved.Huge part of the problem is China flooding our market with super cheap,empty cartridges with the actual packaging the company’s used.You can get them on dh gate for like fifty cents.As far as nicotine vaping goes,it’s been around for a decade,and juul’s been around for half of that,and that’s all around the world,with no substantiated evidence that it’s ever harmed anyone.All off sudden and only in North American,ppl are getting sick from vaping,thats just not logical.You can bet your ass Big Tobacco is responsible for lumping thc concentrate vaping,and nicotine vaping into one package called “vaping”so the news doesn’t separate the two

They're blaming "vaping" so trying to ban vaping, it is what they're vaping is the problem, I mix my own e juice and one of the golden rules is don't vape oil, the people who died vaped, vitamin e oil, it's just the tobbaco industry trying to keep people paying tax, I really hope it doesn't work, as vaping is way better for you than smoking tobacco my lungs are my evidence for that, I used to cough up blood everytime I had a cold and it would last 4-6 weeks, where as now, they only last about two days, I only used to smoke joints not ciggarrettes but I used tobbaco, now I vape weed and nicotine, it can't be good for you but I think it's alot better thats my opinion.
