virtualcol’s embraers aren’t the best, but i still enjoy flying it since the e-jets are my favorite planes. out of curiosity, would this work with the e190/195 as well if not, any chance that we can see a similar texture pack for them

inside, you will find all the textures that virtualcol have made available for this package. most of them come with a preview that allows you to see what the final textures will look like on your simulator before purchasing. the textures are in a folder named “e-jets embraer e-195” or “e-jets embraer e-190”. there are folders in there for “us” or “uk” versions. these contain both the textures and the mapping files.

other than being recreations of two of the e-jets, e-190 and e-195, this package also includes the two alternative versions of the e-190, the e-190m and the e-190md. the md stands for “modifications”, and in this case, virtualcol have made several changes to the aircraft in order to make it a good modern day airliner, including larger engines, a bigger vertical fin and a redesigned vertical tail fin. the md-190 also features an integrated gps that lets you add the aerodrome and its runway information right to the aircraft. additionally, the md-190 has a new sound set, including passenger announcements and baggage handling. to round it off, the md-190 is also a couple of knots faster than the normal e-190.
both the e-190 and the e-195 are highly detailed models that give you a great sense of immersion in the cockpit. the textures, especially those on the wings, airfoils and cockpits are very good, and the aircraft and their systems are well detailed. the aircraft are also very well animated, with a nice amount of downforce being provided by both the wings and the engines. both the e-190 and the e-195 are reasonably priced, although the md-190 is a little more expensive than the normal e-190. with regards to flight physics, both the e-190 and the e-195 can fly smoothly in all directions, at a nice top speed of 400 km/h, and with a decent ceiling of 3,000 feet, which allows you to fly in all weather conditions. the md-190 is a little faster, with a top speed of 420 km/h and a ceiling of 4,000 feet. clearly, virtualcol have done an excellent job in recreating these aircraft, and they are available in a large selection of liveries, making them great for any occasion. with just the price of a single flight in the real world.
