  1. I want to change to a silk pillowcase too. My hairdresser suggested it & I was not sure about it. I wake up & my hair is all frizzy & tangled with a lot of knots. Now that I hear a recommendation from you, I'm going to try it. Now I just have to mention that I wish they would have had the menstrual cups when I would have needed them. I also grew up with 3 sisters, imagine how much we could have all saved!!! Great idea!!!

  2. 1. Use led light bulbs…………2. Instapot ……………………..
    3.Silk pillow case………..
    4. Tools to fix things …………
    5. Menstrual cups…………..
I started making my own cloth pads. I love them. I’ve used a female cup for 3 years now. They are awesome.

  3. Your videos are very helpful. You present the material well and seem very friendly. So thanks for the FIRE points of view. I am an older guy that should have done something like FIRE years ago, but we can always learn new tricks (maybe).

  4. I use wash clothes and hand towels in place of paper towels. Don’t get me wrong we have them just in case we have stuff to clean up that we don’t want to put in the washer. We have 4 kids so we still have stuff to clean up that we don’t want to put in the washer.

  5. Big money saving tip, no pets. I know, I know, I love pets but when I added up food, vet bills, and wear/tear on furnitue and floors it really added up. Enjoy your pets when you're out of debt and investing in the future. Thanks Kelly

  6. thanks for the silk pillow case tip! Instapot was a game changer for me too…I'd throw the frozen meat, sauce etc let it heat up then cook for a total of 30-45 min and boom – mangia! During that time, I take a shower, blow dry my hair, clean the litter and dinner's done. Love Love LOVE IT. Another thing that was helpful was making my own cleaning mixture…It cut down on the bottles and bottles of cleanes and it made it safe for my fur babies.

  7. Drying racks saves on electricity , clothes last longer . . Root powder extends my hair color….going meatless once a week and making restaurant meals at home…want an instant pot hubs won't let me have one afraid I will blow myself up

  8. Not all brands of menstrual cups are cruelty free so do your research. Yes they test period products on animals. It's sick. But there are a few companies that's don't test on animals

  9. A tip for healthy skin and hair. Drink bone broth daily. Make sure the bones have joints. This is so much cheaper than all those expensive face creams. Natural collagen is the secret.

  10. Kim sent me! I would have tried a menstrual cup, but 40 years or so ago you could not buy them at the drugstore. They were like unicorns….people talked about them, but no one knew how to get them. I was super frugal so it would have been great! Oh well, breastfeeding kept the period away for a while after childbirth x3! Looking forward to watching more videos!

  11. I love my instant pot! One of the best purchases I’ve made! And it saves me a ton of money on beans! I buy bulk beans (25lbs) for $10-20 and, which makes about 100 cans worth of beans for like $0.10-$0.20 a can!

  12. I love my Instant Pot! I didn't realize you turned 30 this year! Me too! I turned 30 in January. I've noticed a big difference in my electric bill by having even the simple kind of LED lights. I don't have the awesome ones you can control with your phone yet like you do. One day!

  13. Oohh.. be careful with the menstrual cups. Make sure they are removed and changed routinely and thoroughly sterilized. Because of how the blood pools in the cup, it can serve as a place of growth for bacteria that can lead to toxic shock syndrome (which can also occur with a tampon that is not changed out regularly). I personally have taken care of a patients who we had to amputate fingers or even limbs from this.

  14. Which LED lightbulbs did you get? How do you sync it to your phone? I always found LEDs to be harsh and unattractive. The ability to change the brightness and colortone might convert me.

  15. That InstaPot is still like some black magic wizardry to me. I need to ditch my old school slow cooker and invest in one of these. Love all of the tips except the menstrual cup. I don't even know what this is, but I would probably accidentally drink out of it if my girlfriend had one. Haha sorry for being a weirdo 🙂

  16. I use LED and they do not last any longer than the old light bulbs. The box says 9 years. Mine didn't even last a year. I'm wondering if the claims were exaggerated so people would be willing to pay more.
