This script is way better than what we got in my opinion. I doubt that i would have loved it if this is what we got but at least this movie doesnt make the trilogy disjointed. You can have a bad movie and still have a good overall series of movies so they should have stuck to what TLJ set up.

I liked rise of skywalker but this sounds cool. The only issue maybe is if you are listening to this podcast your a pretty hardcore fan. Which is great but the films are not for hardcore they have to be able to appeal to the regular fan. This has a lot of aspects to it that would be very confusing to regular Star Wars fan but for hard core would be amazing. It feels like an 8 episode tv series would be just amazing for this story.
Hey Star Wars theory I was wondering if you’ve seen Theleolegendary10 s stop motion called Luke’s Battle. It’s soooo good. It made me think that you should try and do a stop motion animation for Dual Of The Fates. Maybe do a colab and have different artist make the scenes with their own styles and edit them all together.

Bro this script would be great in a movie form but it won’t feel 100% right if the same sequel actors aren’t playing the roles. Some people just overact in fan made movies and it’s just exaggerated. That’s why I’m not a fan of fan made movies. But it would be great to watch for sure

Finally. I actually agree with Rey on something! I've always said the idea of balancing the force was preposterous. One will always replace the other, which is why I've always felt the prophecy was misinterpreted.
Anakin may well have been the chosen one but I don't think he was ever supposed to bring balance.
If not an animated movie then I'm hoping for an Alien 3 William Gibsons script style audible production at the very least.

This script is tremendous. Why on Earth didn't Disney go with it for? If it was due to Carrie’s passing, then why not controversially recast her or switch her out for Natalie Portman as Padmé. Maybe The Force takes on Padmé’s appearance to guide Rey. Maybe she has always guided by her and only with training does she realise that this woman who has been there all of her life was The Force guiding her to her ultimate destiny. If that's too weird, then have Anakin’s Force Ghost guide her. But don't toss the entire script out because of one person's tragic death. Maybe KK thought it appealed to fans too much and of course, we couldn't have that now, could we. I feel for Colin Trevorrow he had a fantastic script that I have no doubt would have been fans favourite Star Wars movie of all time, and he will never get to see it on the big screen.
Theory don't make this in an animation. I know you would do a fantastic job with it. But it would cost too much money to produce, and so much time it would be unfair on you not to be able to make any revenue off it.
I'd definitely like to see this animated!
Forget once upon a theory; make an animated series for this. It’s so good!

I love that Theory is so pissed off at this script. It’s exactly how everyone else feels. I liked Episode 9 tbh but I would have loved to see this come to fruition. I completely understand why everyone is pissed off that this script wasn’t used
For the love of god please please please keep reading the script. This is absolutely awesome to see another version of what I think was a terrible starwars movie especially when I’m making my own rewrite of the sequels. I love this I love you guys keep reading this.
