…I’ve just done a re-install of XP with SP3 yesterday and am really liking it, except the 32 bit XP install is very limited to 4GB or less. I did my research on getting Sp3 on a 32 bit machine and used MSU’s version of SP2 on a system with a lot more space than 4 GB. All I did was download the SysInternals Suite of tools and convert it to a portable app….
In the portableapps folder, right click on any of the installers or setup.exe’s you want to install, and click the Extract and run option. it’s not an alternative browser, but firefox esr is probably your best bet. after another year or so brave might be considered one of the better options for privacy, though i’d wait longer for it to build a security reputation. i recommend avoiding both srware iron and/or any comodo products for reasons you can probably determine with a little research.
