Stay out of our heads Nerds. Why are we empowering these nerds to read our minds? It always gets perverted by perverts
I watched your segment on the Social Security funding matter, and was disappointed in your selection of Michael Miller as one of the commentators.
It's clear that Mr. Miller has a political opinion that is at odds with Social Security's purpose/existence, and he let it get in the way of contributing any meaningful insights during the discussion.
I understand that you might feel pressured to present two sides to every issue. But sometimes the opposing position has little merit, and is unnecessary. I expect better judgement from Chicago Tonight when choosing guests to participate on a given topic.
In The Heartland story it wasn't explained definitively why it closed. Why couldn't the current owner continue to operate it there? Some things are meant to be preserved, All this talk in this piece about its importance to the community and its role in the community is just talk. They could have kept it there if they wanted to.
