CBD Scams are Dangerous and Ruining an Industry…

This has got to be the most effort and research put into a video yet! I’m so thankful to have the help and support from someone involved in the CBD industry, …

  1. It should also be noted that CBD in beauty and skincare products only have a shelf life of about 8-12 weeks before it starts to break down. Now many will say that they use a skincare product with CBD and the shelf life shows 8-12 months on the packaging. While that may be true for the product itself (lets says its a moisturizer) the product itself will have that 8-12 month shelf life, but the CBD in it starts to break down quickly and after that you are basically using a plain moisturizer. I work in the beauty industry in formulation, you'd be surprised how many companies will make a product and not test for stability or shelf life properly.

  2. I’m a bit late, but I’ve been hounded by those CBD sellers at shopping centres when I’m with my mom because I have really bad balance and motor control because of brain damage and need a cane to walk. I’m only 16 still and don’t want to risk my already bad health with unregulated CBD because some Karen claimed she could cure the dent in my skull

  3. Can you do a video on Kratom? It’s a legal substance in most states and municipalities, but banned in some. It attaches to the same receptors in your brain as opiates and therefore is highly addictive. Many products containing Kratom are full of false claims and misleading ideas.

  4. CBD oil just gives me acid reflux. I've tried a few. Unfortunately, I don't respond to a lot of things that work for other people.

  5. Interesting video, I don't almost know anything about this industry. They should be regulated, I don't understand why they are not,how hard can it be to put some standards at least, so people know what is safe or not to take. Perhaps it just takes time as it's new. I can so imagine scammers gathering here, this made me angry as it could be dangerous specially for little children. And too specially if you take is like a medication I can imagine that it must be really important to know what you take and how much CBD.
And of course worst of the scammers are the MLMs, they never manage to dissapoint me. Not that I'm any expert but wouldn't some kind of regulations and standards maybe help some with this infestation too.
And how scammers always seem to use autism to sell crap to parents. I feel so bad for those autistic children who's naive parents listen to stuff like this and just give any crap without looking up the the product. Honestly those parents piss me of too actually.

  6. Great video! Lots of great info. I just came across your channel on the home page. I swore you were JKissa! You look so much alike! I’m a new subscriber 🌺🌺🌺

  7. Having worked with Autistic children for years… if something, anything helps your child with their torment and frustration… I would be praising and advocating for it too. There does need to be better regulation and understanding but I do empathise with the parents a lot in this case.

  8. There’s a smoke shop i visit to get cigarettes. They didn’t normally sell CBD until about a year ago. Gummies and such….I just kind of gave it the side eye because it’s not even a cannabis shop so i have no idea where the hell that shit even came from.

  9. My dad uses this for his mental illness (very atypical treatment tho) and without it he would be completely nonfunctional. he needs it as much as he needs his mood stabilizers. weed and shit needs to be acknowledge as a medicine and EXTREMELY regulated. if my dads meds accidentally poisoned him due to lack of regulation i would be destroyed.

  10. CBD products aren't a bad thing to me at all and it can help MANAGE autism when it comes to sensory and physical issues. It doesn't cure, but it helps. I have looked into some of the malpractice when it comes to treatment of Austistic children and over prescribing. True CBD treatment with children isn't a bad thihg, it's more of some freeing thing. A step in the right direction. Autism isn't some monstrous disease that always needs hardcore meds. Even if there isn't tons of documentation of autism and CBD, the actual change of laws in accordance to the case in Colorado changed the views of many reducing pain and things that helped improve the state of living. It does not cause any kind of "stoned" feeling at all, but the benefits of helping with issues. That is pretty great considering the major side effects and lot of drugs can have (that again are sadly over prescribed treating Autism of more of a monster instead of a condition)

  11. Thank you for another fantastic video. CBD is very difficult to get in Australia and as an Ehlers Danlos sufferer I would love to be able to try it. I avoid opiod medications as I am in my mid 30s and I fear addiction. I am still mobile and I work and study so I am extremely fortunate albeit in pain.
However, unregulated CBD products taken without the advice of a doctor seems like a very bad idea.
I can empathise with parents who are struggling wanting to try anything and I am not against CBD oil being given to children if it is medically supervised and from a reputable source.
I'm curious as to why people wouldn't follow this route. Is it because it's legal so people assume it's safe and regulated (same issue with vitamins), or perhaps because healthcare in the US is prohibitively expensive for many people?
Medical cannibis and related products are only available in Aus for seizures and patients of terminal illness. The process is arduous and the products are extremely expensive which is what drives people to purchase outside of legitimate and regulated channels here.
Keep up the amazing content and I love the new channel name.

  12. It's amazing how there's no medications treating autism, yet these huns has the CURE for it.
Praise the huns for bringing us medical miracles!

Edit for no reason only that I was the 400th like and it was soooooo satisfying.

  13. **im watching the video now. I wonder if the Koí CBD gummies i did a review on really had CBD or was it just my blunt that knocked me out 🤔😆🤷‍♀️… And i have chronic pain, and anxiety so i use different products. Love your channel by the way 😘❤😍**

  14. When my mom was in a MLM called PrimeMyBody there was a CBD oil she was CONVINCED and brainwashed into believing it would cure my dad’s diabetes. My dad was skeptical and scared he would loose his clearance from a drug test, and ended up never using it.

  15. I have extremely painful periods to the point where I can't get out of bed and can barely eat anything. I have been tempted to try CBD for it but I just don't feel comfortable with the fact that theres no regulations on it.

  16. My husband, who is 40 years old and autistic, he has taken cbd . He feels that yes it helps with some aspects of it, but does it clear "all of his autistic traits" hell no. Does it help with some aspects, yes! Actual cbd helps with many aspects but it won't cure anyone and giving it to a child is repulsive. I can not imagine, nor can he, giving it to a child. They have no way to thoroughly tell you how you're feeling, regulate, or change the amounts your taking. I can not imagine giving this to autistic children! Cbd, in a correct dosage and form does help some things but it won't "cure" autism. These people are ridiculous and semi abusive to give their children something that's not regulated. Thank you for posting this video because people need to be informed!

  17. So many defensive people in these comments 😂 unbelievable, they clearly need to watch this again and pull their heads out their ass! 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️😂

  18. I see that a lot of people are commenting about autism, but I also wanted to add my two cents. It is horrific to see that these people are still trying to "cure" autism, but the tiny bit of truth in there is that cbd does contain benefits for people with autism. There are many reasons for this, but as someone who is one, I know a few of these benefits first hand. Many ASD indivduals have comorbidities where cannabis products have been shown to help, most individuals have digestional issues and anxiety, often depression, often sensory differences that cause challenges, often migrains and mysterious ailments and pain and other physical sensitivities. I hope that sounds like a lot to deal with, because it is. Autistic children also deal with all of these things, except they are brand new to the game, having no coping mechanisms, and at the mercy of the adults in their lives. So I think if the cbd oil is reputable and tested then yes, it can do a lot of good. I wish we weren't at the mercy of capitalism.

  19. Please, if possible check out Total Life Changes (TLC) they're a MLM company that has CBD products and its all over Instagram, they're prices are over the top and I find it atrocious.

  20. I'm thankful in Canada that although the system isn't perfect, CBD and THC products are legal and regulated for both medical and recreational use. You can get a medical prescription for CBD (or THC) or buy CBD and/or THC products recreationally from legal and regulated stores (including in my province from the government or private stores). There are members of my family that have had pain and other conditions greatly helped by CBD oil so I'm grateful they can easily get it from reliable, regulated sources.

    Hope everyone is staying safe!

  21. I've been using CBD for over a year now, cept I make my own edibles from the buds I buy from OCS – Ontario Cannabis Store. It's a government thing so.

And I do personally find it quite effective for my mood and pain, like it helps my chronic migraines when nothing else does, but I know that cannabis isn't for everyone. And it's not a miracle cure…

Oh also I'm still just as autistic as I was before I started taking it bc ffs it's not gonna change the total neurological makeup of my brain??? I mean it's helped with my anxiety quite a bit – which is probably what they're noticing. Lower anxiety levels means that they aren't getting overwhelmed as easily or whatever. It's at most helping em cope, not like. Making em less autistic. But guess what my anti-anxiety pharmaceutical medications also do that. Like I said I mainly take it for pain.

Anyway thanks as always for exposing this shit!

  22. Madison I love your videos but I feel like there is a glaring issue with this Jackie girl being a source of knowledge in this video. If there is a problem of companies in the cbd world not researching properly, advertising falsely and selling potentially harmful products, why should we trust a source that is a company, even if independent, like hempforce? I am also confused on what makes this woman a “cbd expert” as you called her. On her website all it says is that she battled autoimmune disease, which is terrible, but not the qualification to make someone an expert. Her website mentions nothing of her credentials in a medical or scientific sense or even business. And I don’t see anything cited from known doctors or scientists in the cbd field. It just doesn’t make sense too me to use this woman as a source if she works in the fishy industry you are criticizing and she doesn’t have a medicinal or scientific background.

  23. To be fair about, some doctors actually reccomend CBD to children my daughters doctor did. They also have a CBD prescription. But if you do give it to children, make sure its quality and has lab reports.

  24. Ah yes the autistic thing again. Insight from someone who worked with autistic children and is in the middle of an ASD diagnosis: CBD reduces stress. Lots of the manifestations of autisms (stims, meltdowns, ect) comes from stress and how bad some of us neuroatypical people can handle it. Sure enough, if you give anything to reduce the pressure and anxiety, the manifestations are going to be way more subtle, even invisible. But NO, you're child is NOT CURED. ASD is not an illness and anyway, science didn't find a way to supress it yet. Also, maybe adaptating better his environnement and taking better care of his needs can do the trick too. CBD should be a last resort.

  25. A shocking number of allistic parents basically hate their autistic children and use them on social media so they can be an Autism Warrior mom and do b***** like this. They see absolutely no problem with completely oversharing inappropriate details of their children's lives all over social media

  26. There is no way in hell you can have kids with severe autism that after taking CBD-oil shows no signs of autism. There is always someone saying how their kids miraculously got "cured" from autism because they are selling some pills, a treatment method or diet, but in my time as a parent to a child with autism and meeting a lot of other parents and both children and adults with the diagnosis, I've never met anyone in real life who has claimed anything more than marginal results from trying these things. I do think it's easy to see results if you are really hoping there would be some, so I feel like these anecdotal stories can't be taken as evidence anyway. I've had friends and family who's into alternative medicine suggest treatments to me, but unless I can see some clear scientific proof, there is no way I'm using my kid as a test subject for all sorts of weird stuff.
