  1. The rich genetic variance and potential in cannabis varieties, i.e. more or other medicinal properties of cannabinoid + terpene profiles, is endangered of being lost to homogenization. Just like other Big Agriculture companies homogenizing other vegetables, fruits, etc. Have you ever noticed that there is only a few varieties of tomatoes that can be found in your local grocery store, or anywhere for that matter?

  2. You are not considering the fact that big corporations seek to eliminate smaller businesses and other competition. Let alone home cultivation. These big corporate cannabis companies want everything homogenized and produced like widgets. Big cannabis wants to dominate and control the market. THAT is the problem. With few alternative options for cannabis producers, consumers will have little choice in where they can purchase the cannabis variety they want or need.

  3. What possible test are they going to do on Adult Use that they are not going to do in Medical Use? That they would have to have a separate testing lab makes each absolutely no sense. OK maybe you do not need Adult Use as high a standard as Medical but a lab is able to test to several different standards. Jesus isn't that do anyway, this batch is 95% "X" this batch is only 90%. The same lab can say … this tests for medical, this for Adult Use, and this one can not be sold.
The fracking law makes are totally clueless, why are we allowing all the people behind Marijuana Probation to write the laws around "legalization", clearly they have not changed their mentality around pot at all.?
I live in Maine and most likely I will continue to use my medical card just because I hear they plan on taxing the dog dirt out of Adult Use, so much so that if you buy more than one or two Oz per year you will save money by going medical.
