  1. The trampoline for the ducks sounds fascinating that would have made a great video – trampolining ducks!!! Great idea though I shall try that with some old bits of piping 😁

  2. I’m just learning about this netting and no one is giving much information. The most I’ve heard is from you right now. Would you put netting over tomatoes? And if you do when and how do you handle pollination using netting.

  3. As always, lovely video! I have a question that may not apply, given I am in the US, but where do you get those hoops you use. Are they designed for gardening as you use them, or are they for something else altogether? You are SO resourceful, I don't want to assume. 🙂 Hope you and Mr. J (Monty and the ducks also) are all well in these challenging times!

  4. Thanks for another good one, Liz. And a Happy Eastertide. Your last tunnel reminded me that I've got some stout plastic tubing that might well act for anchors for my own hoops. Thanks for that. Do you know of a source for that scaffold netting which is not exorbitant? Every good wish – Paul
PS Greased up the Bofors and the Lewis guns today – saw my first Cabbage White!!!!

  5. Great video Liz, really restful but informative. Talking of which where did you get the large sheets of netting from, I could definitely use them.

  6. Looking very summery Liz. Brassica cage looks great, will be very handy. Ducks are loving their new area. Happy Easter to you and Mr J❤

  7. Your man, Mr. J seems like a very sweet man for you and a good guy ! Good on you both !
I always appreciate your sensitivity toward plants, and I’m kinda the same way if I have a rogue plant that’s decided to be somewhere, I usually won’t argue with it if it’s happy !

  8. Liz, I have followed you for a long time now and seemed to have missed the wildlife area, having seen it this evening I am wondering how I have missed it. How can I catch up on the beginning on this?

  9. Good use repurposing the old trampoline pipes. There is a chance of rainwater getting down into them but you may not have the horrible mosquito problem like we do here. We have to make sure nothing holds any standing water because mosquitoes will breed like crazy. I have the bottom section of my tv antenna pole down inside a larger piece of pipe stuck into the ground (to help secure it there too vs only to the eve of the house). It was catching the rainwater that ran down the antenna pole so I merely drilled a decent sized hole at ground level. Problem solved.

  10. Now that's a brassica cage Liz brilliant .I'm of down on my plot tomorrow morning to get my sprouts and collie in .do you have any planting tips Liz ie deep planting , firm or loose .,my 1st full year of planting lol

  11. Good afternoon Liz, I see you are keeping very busy. I also kept myself busy this week. I have been transplanting Hosta and planting flowers. Last year I planted tomatoes and pumpkins but the 🦌 I think ate the tomatoes and chip and dale (the chipmunks 🐿) ate my pumpkins. This year I am planting them in containers inside of my yard that is fenced in not the pumpkins tho. I am sending you and Mr J. A very Happy Easter from this side of the ocean.🌷Carole.

  12. This is very helpful as always 👍🏾. I only started my first allotment this year. Planting brassicas for the first time. I followed your link to your amazon store but the fruit cage seems to be way smaller than what you have. Please can you send me the link for the large fruit cage.

  13. Here in Italy cause Corona Virus we can not get out to our vegetable garden, just in this part of the year when there is so much to do.
So now we only can sow and grow our little seedlings waiting the time to put them out in the garden. Best wishes for Easter

  14. Brassica cage looks a little narrow, wont the leaves of things be touching the outside netting? I would be worried that eggs could still be laid.
