  1. So this is just a cheap cringy knock-off of the original Fantasy Island. Considering how horrible the other remakes were, Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider, et al, I'm gonna skip on this.

  2. Horror films are often just mindless fun. Not this one.
This movie actually had a plot, and a story line, and was even a great Fantasy Island prequel type thing. It made a good case for why things are the way they are, and here’s an interesting thing: if you’re a fan of Lost, it kinda had a bit of a Lost feel to it. I am absolutely impressed by the detail put into the story here, and how completely engaging it was, as well as being solid enough to draw one in and pull one along to the end.
Some movies have bad directorial cuts that render the movie impossible to follow because a key scene wound up on the cutting room floor. Not here.
The actors all played their parts believably well, and I’d watch anything else with any of them in it happily. There were even several recognizable faces in the story but it was nice how they didn’t hog the scenes.
The storyline was fun to follow and kept me glued to them screen until the end.
I highly recommend this one. It’s much more than a horror film, its actually a good time!

  3. isn't this the second movie that Lucy Hale played in with this title?? The other one had Hailey Duff in it.. Thought this was that one, and was tripping because its everywhere. Oop. Gotta check this one out now.

Nevermind. Found the other one. Its called "Fear Island".

  4. When you have to resort to vulgarity and sexual perversion to make your movie interesting, it ruins it for many who will now no longer trust you not to use offensive material, just to make a buck. Not appropriate for kids, teens or adults that don't wish to trip into the sewer.

  5. Not gonna lie but their version of Ariana’s 7 Rings got me hyped for it and i was a little bummed when they didn’t play it in the movie not even during the party scene but that’s okay it was a good movie 😭😭😭

  6. Horse shit movie, bad acting, nonredeemable, unfunny characters, terrible cinematography, cheap jump scares that wouldn't make a 10 year old flinch. And Lucy Hale literally has 1 facial expression. I wasted 6 dollars on a ticket to see this movie in theaters because i liked the tv show back in the day. But what else can one expect from Blumhouse

  7. Literally, had a chance to blow up the fantasy ball. But, wasted so much time looking at her fantasy. Girl, throw the dang bomb at it….Lord have mercy.

  8. So you go through your school years being the "cruelest girl in school" and get to survive shit like this??! I STILL wanted Melanie to kill that bitch! 😆

  9. I've got many ,but only in this moment in time to lay next to Maggie Q's intoxicating beauty and watch her chest rise and fall with every breath, and to listen to her heartbeat.

  10. Good movie but that ending. All that just because Nick died. What if Nick had lived he probably wouldn't have ended up with you in the first smh. Hope there's a second movie with new guest's.

  11. Glad I read all these comments before I purchased this because I have severe PTSD from national guard & a domestic violence relationship & losing my 1st child yrs ago & so I am NOT watching this fucking shit! Sounds like a movie full of triggers If ya ask me. The comment where someone said it's like a big nightmare yep helped my decision to find another movie pronto. If I wouldn't of read comments I would of wasted $

  12. At least two episodes of the TV show had Mr. Roark confronting the devil, with Mr. Roark winning each time. I guess that this movie, at its best, gives people the idea of what could happen on the island if the devil had won.
