okAY i know i already commented but like, wHO ELSE IS SO READY FOR NERDY PRUDES MUST DIE??!
I like how whenever they all sing Jeffs voice just overpowers everyone elses
shoutout to the person in the audience that goes oW every time mcnamera enters
Joey Ritcher here and in TGWDLM is so different from the characters that he had played before… It's amazing he's so good!
things i noticed on my whatever # watch of this: -Grace is supposed to babysit Tim but she is out of town (Grace Chasity is a prude—exactly the kind of person who would babysit!!)
Hahahaha I’m from the Netherlands and we do not have free healthcare. It is legally obligated to have health insurance and all less wealthy people receive subsidies to pay for them
2:02:25 IS THAT CHARLOTE???? DID ANYONE ELSE CATCH THAT???????
I have a feeling that Santa Claus Is Going to HS has a deeper connection with the Hatchetfield series, I just can't quite put my finger on it, the lyrics just give me a vibe. It's either that or i'm just overreacting.
In Take Me Back, Tom says “There’s an alternative reality, where we start a family” to Becky. If NPMD has something to do with alternative realities and stuff, I would love to actually see Tom and Becky end up together and have a family.
That high note in take me back scalped me
Why is no one asking how Paul knows Emma before TGWDLM??????
OH MY GOD WHEN TOM SAYS THAT GRACE WAS OUT OF TOWN AND COULDN'T BABYSIT TIM HE WAS TALKING ABOUT GRACE CHASSIDY OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED THIS
Here’s a theory concerning John McNamara. What if he isn’t trapped in the Black and White like they make it appear after his whole run in with Uncle Wiley? What if he’s there on purpose. What if he’s using the Black and White to traverse the dimensions (because let’s face it guys, we all know that this musical is about alternate universes, we’ve crossed that bit already)? What if he travels between dimensions through the means of the Black and White trying to stop the end of the world that is inevitably going to happen in Hatchetfield in every universe?
He shows up in the universe of TGWDLM and tries to help Paul put a stop to the end of the world, to save him and thus save everyone. Then he shows up in Black Friday to help the President and Lex put a stop to Wiggly, that universe’s end, but likely fails again (as I think we all also decided that WWIII happened and they all got blown to shreds). It seems likely, he’s able to use the powers of the Black and White to talk to Lex. If the Black and White is the inbetween of the universes, he likely can use it to travel between them as well.
Here’s a tad more information to support my theory. At 1:53:46 , just after McNamara has talked to Lex through the Black and White and helped her succeed in shooting Sherman Young, he disappears once more at the sound of a hawk.
I’m sure we all thought that that cry was that of an eagle and it was supposed to show some sort of American strength within McNamara, but I did some research and boi, eagles do not sound as majestic as movies make them out to be (they sound like car horns in all honesty), but what does actually sound like that is a Red-Tailed Hawk, and here’s why that’s so important:
Native Americans have a strong connection with Hawks, they are believed to be in a never ending battle against the forces of evil, known for protecting the people from harm (sounds familiar doesn’t it?) and they are closely related with strong weather phenomenons, and in this case, most notably, lightning…. And lightning just so happens to be a common flashing image throughout the two musicals.
It’s used in TGWDLM in the title sequence and when the storm that happens the night the meteor crashes into Starlight Theatre. That storm had nothing to do with the meteor though did it? Bet you never really thought about that… But maybe it had everything to do with McNamara, what if that storm was him appearing out of the Black and White? Need more proof? In Black Friday, when Howard Goodman comes out of the Black and White, lightning goes off as well….
And one more thing, the Red-Tailed Hawk (the bird that the cry in Black Friday belongs to) is more specifically known throughout Native American symbolism as representing that of a messenger from some unearthly plain to that of the people of our planet. So if McNamara is travelling between the dimensions to prevent the end of the world and explain the monsters to those who he thinks can aid him in his struggle, then who is sending the messages?
Original theory from May 24th 2020 Comment if you’ve got any more proof to help back this idea.
why did ethan remind me of jesse st. james
I finally watched this for the first time yesterday, and I can see why everyone loves Ethan so much: He’s a less-murderous version of JD from Heathers. Also, can we please bring him back for Nerdy Prudes Must Die?
my cats collar has a bell so whenever i hear her i HAVE to sing “jingle jangle jingle jangle jingle jangle”
im starting to think gary is the only lawyer in hatchetfield.
Random pointless extra: Hatchetfield must be in Washington. The nuke at the end is presumably the counter-attack from Russia and it would presumably be attacking the capital city, so Hatchetfield has to be somewhere near Washington DC, that or in this reality Hatchetfield is the capital…
None of this shit works on Paul because the guy just doesn't fucking want anything
Linda? I think you mean Narcissa Malfoy
Becky: You say you killed your family. I hope I killed mine Tom: Ok Jesus christ I don't know what's going on here
holy fuck wiggly is capitalism
Can we talk about how Starkid is actually making a connected universe? With reoccurring characters and places?
