Marijuana was illegal when I was a kid and I smoked it at 12. By 15 I was smoking it regularly. It being illegal didn't stop me.

I like Crenshaw, I like most of his views on policies, but his arguments on not wanting to make marijuana federally legal are weak. Although with things like alcohol and tobacco, and shit even vaping being legal, I don't feel there will ever be a good argument to keep marijuana federally illegal.
He's a republican, he can't vote for weed deregulation because the old conservatives that vote for republicans will abandon him. The government has scared people about weed since the 1940s.
